Abstract

A box for note paper is stamped out of a flat sheet of card, or reinforced paper, and has fold lines pressed into the card. The box is assembled by folding and has a front edge (8) with a central cut out (11) for easy extraction of the notes. The folded sides and bottom are formed by double panels of card and the box is open to the top. The box is eventually disposed of in paper recycling.

The innovation concerns a note box according to the preamble of claim 1.

Note boxes for holding leaflets are well known, although in recent years note boxes have been developed and manufactured that can hold other desk items in addition to the usual leaflets.
There are note boxes/note boxes that are designed with facilities to hold writing utensils, paper clips and other office supplies.

The base of the well-known note boxes is made largely of plastic. Note boxes made of wood are also well-known and the majority of note boxes are in the shape of a cube, with the slot for holding the leaflets being open or being able to be closed with a lid. To make it easier to remove the leaflets, the note boxes have an elongated recess on one side so that the user can remove leaflets from the note box without hindrance. In recent years, it has also become common practice to use the outer surface of note boxes for advertising purposes, using stickers or printing or by embossing appropriate slogans or finns and names.

The disadvantage of the known note boxes made of plastic is, on the one hand, that considerable costs have to be spent on their production, due to the presence of molded bodies, and, on the other hand, considerable expenses have to be incurred with regard to the proper and environmentally friendly disposal of note boxes that are no longer required.

The present innovation is therefore based on the task of creating a note box that eliminates the disadvantages of the state of the art, particularly while taking into account the environmentally friendly disposal of note boxes that are no longer needed.

According to the invention, this object is achieved with the features of claim 1 and advantageous embodiments and special designs are the subject of the subclaims.

Thus, a note box was created which is made of a reinforced paper material, the formation of which is achieved by folding and positively locking individual partial areas of a flat starting base body, whereby this flat starting base body is formed by punching and is specially designed in the folding areas so that the individual partial areas in the desired areas

can be folded/creased, which makes it easy to fit the individual parts together and results in a usable note box.

It is also part of the invention that the individual partial surfaces of the initial base body are formed with grooves in their folding areas, which enables easy folding and formation of the entire note box, wherein certain partial surfaces of the initial base body are formed with retaining tabs which engage in slot openings of other partial surfaces when the note box is formed, whereby the individual partial surfaces are joined to one another in a form-fitting manner and the stability of the note box designed in this way is positively influenced.

It is also within the scope of the invention that individual partial areas are formed with a certain clearance from the adjacent partial area in order to ensure that there is no duplication/overlapping of individual partial areas when the note box is formed, thus avoiding tensions within the entire note box and thus preventing the note box from being "unfolded".

As with the already known note boxes, the note box according to the new version also offers the possibility of using the outer side surfaces and, if necessary, the inner surfaces of the note box for advertising purposes. A particular advantage is that the cost-effective production of the note box according to the new version means that the flat base body can be printed with different motifs and advertising slogans for new orders. Another advantage is that the note box according to the new version does not have to be reused immediately after the leaflets contained in it have been used up. Instead, due to the cost-effective production, it makes more sense to use new note boxes completely filled with leaflets. Since the note box is made of paper, this note box can be disposed of in the same way as the leaflets stored in it, without harming the environment.

The application and printing of the side surfaces of the note box with advertising or certain motifs is primarily carried out using known printing processes,

This has the further advantage that the external appearance of a note box can be redesigned at certain intervals.

For example, motifs that correspond to the season or refer to certain events. These can be specific holidays, special cultural events, information about cities and communities, as well as views of buildings or similar motifs

The note box shown in Figure 1 is formed by folding and joining the parts of the original basic body, so the note box consists of the base area 2, the bottom part 7, the side parts 3; 4, the rear wall part 6 and the front part 8, which is designed with an access opening 11. The note box is open at the top so that the leaflets can be inserted into the slot and it is also ensured that the leaflets in the note box can be removed at any time and without disruption without opening the note box. Removing the leaflets is positively supported by the access opening 11 in the front part 8 of the note box.

The starting base body 1 for the production of a note box is a flat starting product which consists of individual parts/partial surface parts, which is formed as a whole by a punching process. In order to form the note box by folding/creasing the individual surface parts, this starting base body 1 has grooves between the individual parts/partial surface parts, which ensure easy folding and thus easy formation of the note box.

The illustration according to Figure 2 shows the initial basic body 1, which consists of the base surface 2 forming the bottom part, the outer side parts 3 provided to the right and left of the base surface 2 and the adjoining inner side parts 4. These inner side parts 4 are formed with retaining tabs 12 on their outer edges.

Furthermore, the front part 8 and, opposite, the rear wall parts 5; 6 and the inner bottom part 7 are provided on the base surface 2.

On the front part 8 and on the outer rear wall part 5, side parts 9 and 10 are arranged, which have a cutout 14 to their adjacent parts, the outer side parts 3.

In the base area 2, slotted openings 13 are provided laterally to the outer side parts 3, into which the retaining tabs 12 of the inner side parts 4 engage when the note box is formed.

This is done by folding the front part 8 as well as the two rear wall parts 5; 6 and the inner bottom part 7 by 90° to the base area 2, then the side parts 9 and 10 are bent inwards by 90°, then the side parts 3; 4 are bent inwards by 90° so that the outer side parts 3 rest against the respective side parts 9; 10 of the front part 8 and the outer rear wall part 5. Now the inner side parts 4 are folded inwards by 180° onto the inner surfaces of the side parts 9; 10 and the retaining tabs 12 are inserted into the slot openings 13 in the base area 2.

Subsequently, the inner rear wall part 6 is folded onto the inner surface of the outer rear wall part 5 and finally the inner bottom part 7 is placed onto the base surface 2, the bottom part of the note box.

By joining the individual parts of the initial base body 1, a stable note box is formed by a positive connection of these parts.

The printing or application of motifs/advertising information or slogans takes place before the original base body is assembled, so that after the joining processes a ready-to-use note box is available.

Claims (7)

Note box for holding leaflets, which is unlocked at the top, has an opening on one outside and is printed with advertising or other information on several outside sides, characterized in that the note box is made of a reinforced paper material and is formed from a punched, flat starting body ( 1 ) consisting of individual partial surfaces by folding and form-fitting joining of the partial surfaces. 2. Note box according to claim 1, characterized in that the note box consists of double-walled side walls, the outer and inner side parts ( 3 ; 4 ), the double-walled rear wall, the outer and inner rear wall parts ( 5 ; 6 ), the double-walled bottom part, the base area ( 2 ) and the inner bottom part ( 7 ) and of a simply formed front part ( 8 ). 3. Note box according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the side parts ( 9 ; 10 ) are arranged between the inner and outer side parts ( 3 ; 4 ). 4. Note box according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that two opposite slot openings ( 13 ) are provided in the base area ( 2 ). 5. Note box according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the outer edges of the inner side parts ( 4 ) are formed with retaining tabs ( 12 ). 6. Note box according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a preferably trapezoidal opening ( 11 ) is provided in the front part ( 8 ). 7. Note box according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that folds are provided between the parts to be erased and the parts to be folded, and cutouts ( 14 ) are provided between the side parts ( 9 ; 10 ) and the outer side parts ( 3 ), the side parts ( 9 ; 10 ) being designed with a width < half the width of the outer and inner side parts ( 3 ; 4 ).
