Abstract

The necklace (1) or the bracelet is assembled of magnetic elements (3, 4) and ordinary ornamental links (2) decorated with precious or semi-precious stones or pearls. The links are positioned in alternating modules comprising of one positive magnetic element (3), at least one ordinary link (2), and one negative magnetic element (4), in order to facilitate the magnetic energy to create a magnetic field (6) between the opposite poles (3, 4). The magnetic elements (3, 4) can also be arranged opposite each other at a chain carrying a pendant or in an axial magnet used as an ornament integrated in a brooch or a pendant.

Description

Jewelry item with magnetic powers

The invention relates to a jewellery article, in particular fashion jewellery to be worn on the human body.

Magnetism has always fascinated and preoccupied people because of its mysterious power. In the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Greece and Asia, we find references to treatment with lodestones and magnetic rods. Magnetism is one of the oldest natural remedies that can be used for acute, chronic and stereotypical pain conditions as well as for a wide range of ailments without having to accept side effects or other risks.

It is known to arrange magnetic strips with several magnetic bodies that generate magnetic vortex fields in a seat cover for seats, especially for vehicle seats. eddy currents, causing the blood vessels to expand and cellular metabolism to be stimulated. This can lead to an accelerated healing effect in the case of pain, for example, and it also activates the human body. Magnetic field therapy is particularly suitable for use in vehicles because it can counteract possible tiredness and exhaustion through its effect on blood circulation, vitalizing and activating.

This is where the invention comes in, the object of which is to provide a piece of jewellery, in particular fashion jewellery to be worn on the human body, which, in addition to having an attractive appearance, also has a positive effect on the human body in terms of preventing pain and relaxing, for example in the case of back pain, tension, rheumatic complaints, poor circulation and the like.

This object is achieved according to the invention in a simple manner by the feature contained in the characterizing part of claim 1, wherein expedient further developments are characterized by the respective subclaims.

The inventive feature of the characterizing part of claim 1, according to which the jewelry item should have at least one magnetic element that generates alternating magnetic fields, advantageously produces magnetic eddy currents or field lines that then stimulate the person wearing the costume jewelry to form small eddy currents in the electrically conductive blood in the neighboring part of the body, so that the blood vessels expand and the cell metabolism is stimulated. It can be assumed that wearing such a jewelry item will result in an accelerated healing effect, particularly with regard to sciatica and the like.

For this purpose, according to the invention, it is expedient that the magnetic element is integrated into the jewelry item in such a way that the magnetic element is as close as possible to the wearer's skin when the jewelry item is worn, i.e. it is positioned as close to the body as possible. For this purpose, the magnetic element should have a bipolarity, which is known to be beneficial for blood circulation, which in turn creates a vitalizing effect.

has a relaxing and activating effect that counteracts possible tiredness and exhaustion.

Bipolarity is achieved by at least one axial magnet in which a magnetic north pole (N) and a magnetic south pole (S) are opposite each other. This bipolarity is achieved because magnetic field lines are generated between the magnetic north pole (N) and the magnetic south pole (S) and the desired vortex fields are achieved here as a result of the alternation of the north and south poles.

To integrate an axial magnet into a piece of jewelry, its cross-section is adapted to the piece of jewelry, i.e. its cross-section can be either cuboid or round or similar, or S-shaped or eyelet-shaped. The only important thing is that the axial magnets are aligned in such a way that the south pole (S) is followed by a north pole (N), etc. For example, if the arrangement is reversed, i.e. north pole/north pole, the effect would not occur.

Furthermore, a magnetic element is possible from alternately poled magnetic sectors, in which a south pole (S) is connected to a north pole (N) or

a north pole (N) is followed by a south pole (S), whereby such a magnetic element can then be designed as a round disk.

The arrangement of the mutually attractive poles is essential, i.e. the poles of the magnetic element integrated into a piece of jewelry are arranged in such a way that they attract each other. Only when this attractive force between the two poles is still noticeably effective will sufficient magnetic fields be generated to achieve the desired interaction. The poles should be arranged next to each other in such a way that a magnetic strength of at least 300 to 400 Gauss is achieved.

Suitable fashion jewellery with at least one integrated magnetic element are bracelets or bangles, necklaces or chokers, earrings, pendants, belly chains, anklets, brooches, finger rings, scarf clips, hairbands or barrettes, piercings of any kind, watches, belts or the like.

In the case of an earring, for example, a magnetic element with magnetic sectors can be used, or in the case of a necklace, axial magnets can be integrated into it.

In the case of a jewelry chain, it is also possible to design the chain clasp as a polarized magnetic element and/or to form spaced chain links as magnetic elements with bipolarity. Furthermore, the chain links can also be designed alternately as a magnetic north pole (N) and a magnetic south pole (S), and then also spaced apart from one another. Or it is also possible, for example in a delicate necklace, to integrate individual magnetic elements made up of alternately polarized magnetic sectors whose dimensions are several times greater than the thickness of the chain. In the case of a chain pendant, this can then also be equipped with a magnetic element. In this case, it is advisable to provide the magnetic element on the back of the pendant so that it hangs as close to the body as possible when the pendant is worn. At least one axial magnet or a magnetic element made up of alternately polarized magnetic sectors is suitable for this.

The inventive idea of integrating magnetic elements into jewelry can therefore be realized in a variety of jewelry items, such as pearls or pendant crosses.

The jewellery article according to the invention can consist essentially of leather, pearls, gold, silver, copper, aluminium or combinations thereof.

Further details and advantages of the invention are explained and described in more detail below by means of exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawing.

The section of a necklace shown schematically in Fig. 1 - designated 1 - is composed of normal chain links 2 and those with an integrated north magnetic pole (N) - designated 3 - and south magnetic pole (S) - designated 4 - via connecting links 5.

Between the chain links with the integrated magnetic poles 3(N) and 4(S) there are three normal chain links 2 arranged so that the magnetic field lines - indicated at 6 - between the poles 3(N) and 4(S) build up an alternating magnetic field, which has a magnetic therapeutic effect for the chain wearer at a magnet strength of at least 300 to 400 Gauss.

Fig. 3 shows schematically the basic structure of a magnetic element 10 made up of alternately polarized magnetic sectors 11, which are alternately designed as a magnetic north pole (N) and a magnetic south pole (S).

Fig. 4 shows the basic structure of two axial magnets 12 schematically, the bipolarity of which, caused by the magnetic poles (N) and (S) - designated 13 and 14 - creates alternating magnetic fields 15 which, when integrated into a piece of jewelry worn on the human body, come into effect in the body areas adjacent to the magnetic fields 15.

As a further embodiment, Fig. 5 schematically shows a bead 16, in the center of which an axial magnet 17 adapted to the shape of the bead is provided.

Finally, Fig. 6 shows a further exemplary embodiment of a delicate necklace 18, which essentially comprises a delicate chain 19, a ring clasp 20 with a magnetic pendant 21 and a jewelry pendant 22. Two magnetic elements 10 with alternating polarity magnetic sectors 11 are integrated into the delicate chain 19, each of which lies opposite one another and usually rests on the skin of the wearer of the necklace 18. In addition, a magnetic pendant 21 is provided on the necklace 18, which is attached in the area of the ring clasp 20. This magnetic pendant 21 again has a magnetic north pole (N) - designated 23 - and on its invisible back a magnetic south pole (S) - designated 24 -. This also makes it possible to allow the magnetic field lines initiated thereby to take effect in the neck area of a jewelry wearer.

Finally, at least one magnetic element 25 can also be provided on the jewelry pendant 22, as shown schematically in Fig. 6a. This magnetic element 25 is attached to the back of the jewelry pendant 22 so that the wearer of the jewelry comes into contact with the magnetic element 25 as close to the body as possible. The magnetic element 25 is bipolar with a north pole (N) 26 and a south pole (S) 27.

Claims (17)

1. An article of jewellery, in particular fashion jewellery to be worn on the human body, characterised in that at least one magnetic element ( 3 , 4 ; 9 ; 10 ; 12 ) generating alternating magnetic fields is integrated in the article of jewellery ( 1 ; 7 ; 16 ; 18 ). 2. Jewellery item according to claim 1, characterized in that the magnetic element ( 3 , 4 ; 9 ; 10 ; 12 ) is integrated into the jewellery item ( 1 ; 7 ; 16 ; 18 ) in such a way that it is arranged as close to the body as possible when the jewellery item is worn. 3. Jewellery item according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the magnetic element ( 3 , 4 ; 9 ; 10 ; 12 ) has a so-called bipolarity as the pole orientation. 4. A jewellery article according to claim 3, characterised in that the bipolarity is obtained by at least one axial magnet ( 3 , 4 ; 9 , 12 , 17 ) in which a magnetic north pole (N) and a magnetic south pole (S) are opposite each other. 5. A jewelry item according to claim 4, characterized in that the axial magnet has a shape adapted to the shape of the jewelry item, such as cuboid, S-shaped, eyelet-shaped, round and the like. 6. A jewellery item according to claim 3, characterised in that the bipolarity is obtained by at least one magnetic element ( 10 ) made up of alternately poled magnetic sectors ( 11 ), in which a magnetic north pole (N) is followed by a magnetic south pole (S). 7. A jewellery item according to claim 6, characterised in that the magnetic element is made up of alternately poled magnetic sectors ( 11 ) and is preferably designed as a round disc. 8. A jewellery item according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the alternating juxtaposition of the mutually attractive north (N) and south poles (S) is selected in such a way that their attractive force still produces noticeable alternating magnetic fields. 9. A jewelry item according to claim 8, characterized in that the magnetic strength is at least 300 to 400 Gauss. 10. Jewellery item according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is designed as a bracelet/bracelet, necklace/bracelet, earrings, pendant, belly chain, anklet, brooch, fingering, scarf clip, hairband/barrette, piercing of any kind, watch, belt, or the like. 11. A jewellery article according to claim 10, characterised in that it consists essentially of leather, pearls, gold, silver, copper, aluminium or the like, alone or in combination. 12. Jewellery item according to claim 10 or 11 in the form of a chain ( 18 ) or the like, characterized in that a magnetic pendant ( 21 ) is provided as a polarized magnetic element on the clasp ( 20 ) of the chain ( 18 ) or the like. 13. A jewellery item according to claim 10 or 11 in the form of a chain ( 7 ) or the like, characterised in that spaced chain links ( 9 ) are designed as magnetic elements with bipolarity. 14. A jewellery item according to claim 10 or 11 in the form of a chain ( 1 ) or the like, characterised in that spaced chain links ( 3 , 4 ) are alternately designed as a magnetic north pole (N) and a magnetic south pole (S). 15. A jewellery item according to claim 10 or 11 in the form of a delicate necklace ( 18 ), preferably with a pendant ( 22 ) or the like, characterised in that individual magnetic elements ( 10 ) made of alternately poled magnetic sectors ( 11 ) are integrated at certain points in the delicate necklace ( 18 ), the dimensions of which exceed the thickness of the chain by several times. 16. Jewellery item according to one of the preceding claims, in particular according to claim 15, characterized in that at least one magnet segment ( 25 ) in the form of an axial magnet ( 12 ) or one made up of magnet sectors ( 11 ) is provided, preferably on the back of the pendant ( 22 ). 17. Jewellery item according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one magnetic element ( 17 ) is integrated in a pearl ( 16 ) or a pendant cross.
