Abstract

The stackable pallet (1) has a bottom (2), four inclined supports (3) and recesses formed as angled slots (4), and also a base pallet (5) lying beneath the aforesaid pallet. The supports can be guided into the recesses of the pallet below. When at least two pallets are stacked the upper pallet is rotatable around its vertical axis into a second empty state position in which by its supports it is guided deeper into the recesses of the pallet below in such a way that the two pallet bottoms have a comparatively small space between them. Stop are provided to limit the penetration depth of the supports in the recesses in the transporting position, and are bypassed in the empty state position of the pallets.

It is clearly visible that the supports 3 are inclined relative to the vertical and are designed as angle plates, each with a longer leg 8 and a shorter leg 9. The longer legs 8 have a notch 10 so that a downwardly projecting overhang 11 is formed.

With this projection 11 and with the shorter leg 9, the supports 3 are inserted into the recesses 4 of the lower pallet or the base pallet 5 shown, so that the longer length of the leg 8 together with the pallet base 2 forms a stop,

which limits the penetration depth of the supports 3.

In Figure 3, the arrangement of Figure 2 is shown in a stacked state, i.e. with supports 3 of the pallet 1, which penetrates as far as possible into the recesses of the base pallet 5.

Claims (3)

1 pallet,
with a pallet base,
and with four supports,
and with four recesses in the pallet floor, each located near the supports,
wherein the supports are inclined relative to the vertical in such a way that the supports can be inserted into the recesses of a lower, similar pallet,
and wherein the recesses are larger than necessary to accommodate the supports, or wherein an additional recess is provided near each recess,
such that, with the lower pallet always oriented in the same way, the upper pallet can be arranged on the lower pallet in a first, so-called transport position, whereby the supports of the upper pallet extend into the recesses of the lower pallets and whereby the two pallet bases in this transport position have a first, comparatively large distance between them which enables the transported goods to be accommodated,
and wherein the upper pallet can be rotated by 180° about its vertical axis into a second, so-called empty position, in which it can be further inserted with its supports into the recesses of the lower pallet, such that the two pallet bases have a comparatively small distance,
whereby stops are provided which limit the penetration depth of the supports into the recesses in the transport position and these stops are bypassed in the empty container position. 2. Pallet according to claim 1, characterized in that the supports are designed as approximately L-shaped angle plates, with legs of different lengths, and that the recesses are designed as angle slots, also with different leg lengths. 3. Pallet according to claim 2, characterized by downwardly projecting projections on the longer legs of the supports, said projections having a length which corresponds at most to the length of the shorter legs.
