Convertible seating or reclining furniture, in particular convertible upholstered furniture, with a first seating or reclining element and a second seating or reclining element that can be pivoted through 90° relative to the first, which are connected to one another via a pivot fitting in the frame of the seating or reclining elements or on the undersides thereof, characterized in that a support ( 3 ) is attached to the first element ( 1 ) in a protruding manner, which extends into the frame or over a partial section on the underside of the second element ( 2 ) and runs eccentrically to the longitudinal axis ( 16 ) of the second element ( 2 ) in the area of the front ( 13 ) or the back ( 12 ) and has a pivot bearing ( 10 ) for a first guide rod ( 4 ) which is pivotably mounted in the frame or on the underside of the second element ( 2 ) with the second end on a pivot bearing ( 7 ), which pivot bearing ( 7 ) is spaced from the front ( 13 ) or rear side ( 12 ) of the second element ( 2 ) in a first rotational position thereof and to the carrier ( 3 ) and has a distance from the front side ( 13 ) or rear side ( 12 ) which the carrier ( 3 ) is arranged to face that corresponds to or is greater than the distance from the attachment side ( 14 ) to the first element ( 1 ), and that the pivot bearing ( 10 ) and the rotary bearing ( 7 ) are arranged so far apart from one another and are positioned in such a way that when the second element ( 2 ) is pivoted relative to the first element ( 1 ), the front side ( 13 ) or the rear side ( 12 ) becomes the new attachment side and the previous attachment side ( 14 ) becomes the rear side ( 12 ) or the front side ( 13 ).

Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that a second, shorter support ( 5 ) is provided at a distance from the first support ( 3 ) and has a pivot bearing ( 8 ) in the area of the adjacent attachment sides ( 14 , 15 ) of the elements ( 1 , 2 ) for the pivotable mounting of a second guide rod ( 6 ) which, in the first rotational position of the second element ( 2 ), runs obliquely towards that front side ( 13 ) or rear side ( 12 ) of the second element ( 2 ) which the first support is provided to face ( 3 ), and is also rotatably fastened in the frame or on the underside of the second element ( 2 ), wherein the pivot axis of the pivot bearing ( 9 ) is directed towards the front side ( 13 ) or rear side ( 12 ) in the vicinity of which the first support ( 3 ) is located, as well as towards the attachment side ( 14 ) of the second element ( 2 ) and the length of the second guide rod ( 6 ) is matched to the length of the first guide rod ( 4 ) and the pivot bearings ( 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 ) are arranged in such a way that there is no overlap when the second element ( 2 ) is pivoted by 90 ° and after the second element ( 2 ) has been pivoted into the second position, the pivot bearings ( 7 , 8 , 9 10 ) essentially form the corner points of a parallelogram.

Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 2, characterized in that the pivot bearing ( 7 ) of the first guide rod ( 4 ) and/or the pivot bearing ( 8 ) of the second support ( 5 ) are arranged in the region of the central axis or on the central axis ( 6 ) of the second element ( 2 ).

Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that holders for fastening a tension spring ( 17 ) are provided on the first and second elements ( 1 , 2 ), which is tensioned during the pivoting movement of the second element ( 2 ) relative to the first element ( 1 ) and pulls the respective attachment side ( 14 ) or the front side ( 13 ) or the back side ( 12 ), which accordingly become the attachment side, towards the attachment side ( 15 ) of the first element ( 1 ).

Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 4, characterized in that the tension spring ( 17 ) is fastened on the one hand to a bolt forming the pivot bearing ( 7 ) and on the other hand to a bolt forming the pivot bearing ( 8 ) or to a bridge part ( 11 ) connecting the two supports ( 3 , 5 ).

6. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the pivot bearing ( 8 ) is arranged on the support ( 5 ) and the attachment side ( 15 ) of the element ( 1 ) protrudes at a small distance.

7. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rear side ( 12 ) or the front side ( 13 ) and the attachment side ( 14 ) are substantially straight, wavy, curved or curved at least in the attachment area section and the attachment side ( 15 ) of the element ( 1 ) is designed to conform to contours at least in the attachment section.

8. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least the second element ( 2 ) is an elongated element.

9. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two elements ( 1 , 2 ) are connected to one another for position fixing by means of releasable locking devices in one or the other rotational position of the second element ( 2 ).

10. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 9, characterized in that separate hook locks or locking devices interacting with the fitting are provided.

11. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the pivot bearings ( 7 , 9 ) on the second element ( 2 ) for the first and second guide rods ( 4 , 6 ) are provided on a plate ( 18 ) which can be screwed into the frame or onto the underside of the second element ( 2 ).

12. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one or more of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that protruding ramps ( 19 ) are provided on the underside of the first element ( 1 ), on which the underside or a supporting surface in the frame of the second element ( 2 ) rests in the attachment position.

13. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 1, 2 and/or 3, characterized in that the supports ( 3 , 5 ) are arranged at a distance from the pivot bearings or the underside of the second element ( 2 ) by means of spacers or by height offset in the frame of the first element in such a way that the guide rods ( 4 , 6 ) are arranged lying between the supports ( 3 , 5 ) and the underside of the second element ( 2 ).

14. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the supports ( 3 , 5 ) are formed in one piece with one or more bridge parts ( 11 ) and can be screwed on.

15. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that furniture glides, lockable or non-lockable furniture castors with or without swivel ring lock or support feet are provided on the underside of the elements ( 1 , 2 ).

16. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that lockable or non-lockable furniture glides, furniture castors or support feet are provided on the underside of the supports ( 3 , 5 ).

17. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the distance of the pivot bearing ( 7 ) to the front ( 13 ) or rear ( 12 ) is 315 mm, that the pivot bearing ( 10 ) is provided at a distance (E) of 241 mm from the abutment side ( 14 ) and the pivot bearing ( 8 ) is located 24.5 mm in front of the attachment side ( 14 ) in extension to the pivot bearing ( 7 ), that the pivot bearings ( 7 , 10 ) of the first guide rod ( 4 ) have a distance (C) of 269.5 mm and those of the second guide rod ( 6 ) have a distance (A) of 234.5 mm - in each case related to the axes of rotation of the pivot bearings - and that the distance (B) of the axes of rotation and the pivot bearings ( 7 , 9 ) is 315 mm and the distance (D) of the Supports ( 3 , 5 ) relative to the axes of the pivot bearings ( 10 , 8 ) are 231 mm.

18. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the distance of the pivot bearing ( 7 ) to the front ( 13 ) or rear ( 12 ) is 450 mm, that the pivot bearing ( 10 ) is provided at a distance (E) of 345 mm from the abutment side ( 14 ) and the pivot bearing ( 8 ) is located 35 mm (distance A) in front of the attachment side ( 14 ) in extension to the pivot bearing ( 7 ), that the pivot bearings ( 7 , 10 ) of the first guide rod ( 4 ) have a distance (C) of 385 mm and those of the second guide rod ( 6 ) have a distance (A) of 335 mm - each related to the axes of rotation of the pivot bearings - and that the distance (B) of the axes of rotation and the pivot bearings ( 7 , 9 ) is 450 mm and the distance (D) of the supports ( 3 , 5 ) relative to the axes of the pivot bearings ( 10 , 8 ) is 330 mm.

19. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is an upholstered furniture made of elements of the same size or of elements with at least different widths or lengths.

20. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a backrest or armrest is placed on the seating or reclining surface of the second element or can be attached thereto by means of a holder.

21. Convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 15 or 16, characterized in that the first element ( 1 ) as a fixed element has non-slip, large-surface feet.

22. Furniture fitting for a convertible seating or reclining furniture according to claim 1 and 2 or 3, characterized in that

- that it consists of two supports ( 3 , 5 ) which are rigidly connected to one another via bridge elements ( 11 ),

- that fixed pivot bearings ( 8 , 10 ) for first and second guide rods ( 4 , 6 ) are provided on the carrier ( 5 , 3 ),

- that the guide rods ( 4 , 6 ) are hinged to a plate ( 18 ) with their ends on pivot bearings ( 7 , 9 ) and

- that holes or fastening means are provided on the supports ( 5 , 3 ) and the plate ( 18 ) for fastening in a frame or on the underside of the elements ( 1 , 2 ).

23. Furniture fitting according to claim 22, characterized in that a tension spring ( 17 ) is fastened by its end to the bearing pin of the pivot bearing ( 7 ) and to the bearing pin of the pivot bearing ( 8 ) or to a bridge element ( 11 ).
