Stove modular system

Fireplaces are becoming more and more of a part of home furnishings, especially in designs that are not permanently installed but can be freely positioned.

The aim of the innovation is to create a modular system with a fireplace that can be placed freely in a living space and that enables aesthetically pleasing integration into the living space.

To solve this problem, a modular stove system according to the innovation comprises a stove that can be placed freely in a living room and various furniture modules that are designed and dimensioned in such a way that they can be combined with the stove to form a design unit.

The furniture modules preferably comprise at least one foot/head module, at least one side module and at least one top module.

These furniture modules can be grouped as desired around the stove, which can be placed freely in the room or hung on a wall, e.g. by placing the appropriately sized and designed furniture modules underneath, on or above them, creating aesthetically pleasing ensembles. This results in a great deal of design flexibility because the number of variants that can be put together is very large (see Fig. 6).

In a preferred embodiment, the side module is provided with a recess in an upper corner area to accommodate and partially support a lower section of the stove.

All furniture modules can be designed as cupboard or shelf parts and can be equipped with doors, shelves and/or drawers either individually or together.

In view of the heat generated by the stove, the furniture modules are preferably made of heat-resistant or fireproof material to prevent the risk of fire. A preferred material for the furniture modules is sheet metal. However, a fireproof plastic material can also be used.

The innovation is explained in more detail below using schematic drawings of examples. They show:

Variants of combinations of furniture modules and a fireplace stove are illustrated in Fig. 1.

In the modular system shown in Figures 1 to 6, a stove is designated as a whole with the reference number 1. The stove 1 has a housing 2 and a door 3 with a viewing window 4 and handle 5. The door opening, which is covered by the door 3 in the figures, is used as usual for feeding the stove with fuel, such as wood or coal. A flue for the stove is not shown. It could come from the cover 6 or from the invisible rear of the housing 2.

The fireplace stove 1 shown can be placed anywhere in a living room or hung on a wall of the living room.

Figures 2 to 6 show the stove according to Figure 1 in variants of a modular system according to the innovation with various furniture modules. A foot/head module 10 can be seen in Figures 2 to 5. This foot/head module is so named because it can serve both as a base (Figures 2, 3 and 5) and as an attachment (Figure 6, variant 6.4) of the stove 1. The foot/head module can have a cavity 11 that is open at the front for storing fuel and kindling material and/or fireplace equipment (tongs, shovel, etc.). Of course, it can also be closed with a front door.

A side module is provided with the reference number 20 in Figures 2 to 6. This side module can serve as a partial base for the stove. In the embodiment shown, the side module 20 has a recess 21 in an upper corner area, which forms a horizontal surface 22. The stove can be partially supported on this surface 22, as shown in Figures 3 and 5. A side module with a mirror-image recess (see Figures 3, 5 and in Figure 6 the variants 6.3, 6.6, 6.8 and 6.11 to 6.15) can support the other lower corner area of the stove 1 with a correspondingly designed surface 22.

Figures 3, 4 and 5 also show add-on modules 30 which can be placed on the side modules 20.

All the modules described have in common that they can be attached to the fireplace 1 freely and in any configuration (see Fig. 6), or placed on top of it or placed under it, as shown, without the need for a connection. Of course, however, a detachable connection, for example by means of screws, can also be provided between the furniture modules 10, 20, 30 and the fireplace 1.

In particular from Fig. 4, but also from the perspective views of Figs. 2 and 3, it can be seen that the front side 7 of the fireplace door 3 and the front sides 17, 27, 37 of the furniture modules 10, 20, 30 are convexly curved in a coordinated manner in order to produce a uniformly curved front appearance of the front side of the module system according to the invention.

This appearance can be emphasized by additional design features of the front sides 27, 37. For example, holes 28, 38 for ventilation and/or for gripping are provided in the front sides 27, 37 of the furniture modules, which can be designed as doors, which are provided in a vertical row one above the other at regular intervals as shown.

The front sides 27, 37 of both the comb oven 1 and the furniture modules 10, 20, 30 can of course also be flat, which further increases the variability.

The front sides 17, 27, 37 can be designed as doors.

The 15 variants 6.1 to 6.15 of the modular system shown in Fig. 6 are self-explanatory when looking at the drawings, so that no further description is required. However, it should be noted that the variants shown only represent a selection of the total number of possible configurations and the 15 variants shown make no claim to completeness.

The features disclosed in the above description, the claims and the drawings may be important both individually and in any combination for the realization of the invention in its various embodiments.

Claims (13)

1. A modular fireplace system comprising a fireplace ( 1 ) that can be placed freely in a living space and various furniture modules ( 10 , 20 , 30 ) that are designed and dimensioned such that they can be combined with the fireplace to form different groupings. 2. Stove module system according to claim 1, characterized in that the furniture modules comprise at least one foot/head module ( 10 ), at least one side module ( 20 ) and at least one top module ( 30 ). 3. Stove module system according to claim 2, characterized in that the foot/head module ( 10 ) forms a base and/or an attachment for the stove ( 1 ). 4. A modular stove system according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the side module ( 20 ) is provided in an upper corner region with a recess ( 21 ) for receiving and partially supporting a lower section of the stove ( 1 ). 5. A modular fireplace system according to claim 4, characterized in that two side modules ( 20 ) together form a base for the fireplace ( 1 ). 6. Stove module system according to claim 4, characterized in that two side modules ( 20 ) and a foot/head module ( 10 ) form a base for the stove ( 1 ). 7. Stove module system according to one of claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the side module ( 20 ) is designed as an attachment part for the stove. 8. Modular stove system according to one of claims 2 to 7, characterized in that the attachment module ( 30 ) is designed as an attachment to a side module ( 20 ). 9. Stove module system according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that all furniture modules ( 10 , 20 , 30 ) are designed as cabinet and/or shelf parts. 10. Modular stove system according to claim 9, characterized in that the cabinet and/or shelf parts optionally or jointly have doors, shelves and/or drawers. 11. Stove module systems according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the stove ( 1 ) and the furniture modules ( 10 , 20 , 30 ) can be detachably connected to one another. 12. Stove module systems according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the furniture modules ( 10 , 20 , 30 ) consist of heat-resistant material. 13. Stove module systems according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the furniture modules ( 10 , 20 , 30 ) consist of fireproof material, such as sheet metal.
