Man verwendet daher bekannte Schalter mit Öffner-Kontakt, sogenannte Türpositionsschalter, um die Leuchte zu betätigen. Diese mechanischen Türpositionsschalter werden in der Regel am Schaltschrankrahmen befestigt und sind über eine Anschlussleitung direkt oder über eine Steckverbindung an die elektrotechnische Ausstattung im Inneren des Leuchtengehäuses angeschlossen.
Eine Schaltschrankleuchte besteht aus einem Gehäuse mit Befestigungsvorrichtungen zur Herstellung einer Verbindung zum Schaltschrank. Mit der Neuerung wird die Montage einer Schaltschrankleuchte vereinfacht, weil das Gehäuse über die Abkantung leicht am Schaltschrankrahmen befestigt werden kann. Daran erfolgt zusätzlich eine Zentrierung beim Ansetzen der Leuchte, weil die beiden rechtwinklig ausgerichteten Anlageflächen, die von der Abkantung und der Längsseite des zweiten Gehäuseteils gebildet werden, am Montageort zweiseitig anliegen. Die Befestigungsvorrichtungen an der Abkantung sind frei einsehbar und gut von unten zugänglich. Somit kann die Montage auch mit einem Schrauber maschinell erfolgen, weil dafür im Türbereich genügend Freiraum vorhanden ist. Demgegenüber mussten herkömmliche Schaltschrankleuchten von hinten, d. h. aus dem Bereich des Schaltschrank-Innenraumes heraus, angeschraubt werden. Hier war der Arbeitsraum für Werkzeug durch die Einbauteile im Schaltschrank stark eingeschränkt und die Montage insgesamt sehr umständlich.
Alle Haltebohrungen liegen außen an der Abkantung, d. h. es entstehen keine freien Öffnungen im Gehäuse wie bei bekannten Ausführungen, wenn Befestigungspunkte nicht genutzt werden. Die bisher zeitaufwändigen Befestigungs- oder Anschlussarbeiten und insbesondere das Öffnen des Gehäuses entfallen. Ist dies trotzdem erforderlich, so befinden sich sämtliche elektrotechnischen Bauteile - und damit auch die Verdrahtung - am ersten Gehäuseteil. Daher ist das Abnehmen eines Gehäuseteils nicht mehr mit dem Lösen von Klemmen im Inneren verbunden. Über die vorhandenen Steckverbindungen können Schaltschrank-Ieuchten sofort untereinander oder mit Zusatzbauteilen verdrahtet werden, wenn bei der Benutzung des Schaltschrankes ein Erfordernis dafür entsteht. Die Schaltschrankleuchte besteht im wesentlichen aus einem in Längsrichtung geteilten Gehäuse mit zwei Teilen 1, 2, welche an zugeordneten, ins Gehäuseinnere zeigenden Abkantungen durch Stecken oder Schrauben miteinander verbunden werden. Eine vom Teil 2 des Gehäuses nach außen überstehende Abkantung 3 verläuft in Längsrichtung und dient zum Fixieren der Leuchte über Befestigungsvorrichtungen 4 am Schaltschrank. Gezeigt ist eine unterbrochene, aus drei Teilstücken bestehende Abkantung 3.
An der Außenseite des ersten Teiles 1 ist das Leuchtmittel 5 mit Halterungen 6 und an der Innenseite die gesamte, hier nicht dargestellte elektrotechnische Ausstattung angebracht. Weiterhin trägt das Teil 1 auf der in Einbaulage gut einsehbaren Seite den Türpositionsschalter 7, mindestens eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose 8 sowie den Ein-/ Ausschalter 9 für das Leuchtmittel 5. 1. Switch cabinet light, comprising a housing with fastening devices for establishing a connection to the switch cabinet, a light source with holders on one long side of the housing and at least one plug connection as an electrical input and at least one plug connection as an electrical output for electrical equipment inside the housing, characterized in that the housing consists of at least two associated parts ( 1 , 2 ) connected to one another in the longitudinal direction and is provided on one long side with at least one bevel ( 3 ) pointing outwards from the housing, which has fastening devices ( 4 ) for establishing a connection to the switch cabinet.
