Auf diese Weise wird der erfindungsgemäße Reinigungshandschuh in besonderer Weise solchen Anwendungen gerecht, bei den die beiden Seiten des Reinigungshandschuhs eine unterschiedliche Funktionalität haben, bzw. verschiedenen Zwecken dienen, beispielsweise indem eine Seite zum Reinigen eines Gegenstands, d.h. dem Entfernen von Schmutz dient und die andere Seite dem Polieren der gereinigten Oberfläche. Entsprechendes gilt beispielsweise für solche Reinigungshandschuhe, bei denen die erste der beiden Seiten dem feuchten Reinigen eines Gegenstandes und die andere Seite dem Trocknen der feucht gereinigen Oberfläche dient.
