As part of an evaluation in the Chinese science of Feng Shui, the floor plan of the property to be consulted (house, apartment, business premises) is used for analysis.

As a rule, the north arrow (the direction pointing north) is indicated on a house or apartment floor plan.

Currently, the necessary degree-accurate information within the framework of a Feng Shui evaluation on the floor plan is solved by using set squares.

It is important to determine the individual cardinal directions precisely to the degree and to assign them accordingly and transfer them to the individual rooms on the floor plan of the property being consulted.

In order to be able to place certain Feng Shui measures precisely in the property being consulted, it is important to be able to make exact markings on the floor plan.

The Feng Shui circle ruler is a circular ruler and essentially consists of four ring-shaped fields and drawing slots (see Figure 1).

It has a diameter of 19.00 cm. Other dimensions are possible.

The material intended is transparent plastic (plexiglass). Other materials are conceivable and possible.

The four rings and other details are described below:

The first ring from the outside has a scale for a circle from 1 to 360 degrees (degrees = °) without any label. The first ring has a width of 0.5 cm.

Other dimensions are possible.

The second ring from the outside is used to mark the degrees of the first ring. A visual division is achieved by marking every fifth degree with a longer line as a continuation of the scale division from the first ring from the outside and every tenth degree with a degree designation. The arrangement of the lettering for the degrees can be read from the inside to the outside. The second ring is 0.5 cm wide. Other dimensions are possible.

In the third ring from the outside, the scale of 360 degrees (1st ring) is combined with the assignment of the eight cardinal directions. Each cardinal direction (south, southeast, east, northeast, north, northwest, west, southwest) therefore results in a range of 45 degrees. (360°: 8 = 45°)

On the Feng Shui circular ruler, coloured bars are assigned to the individual cardinal directions, with the orientation line from north to south and from east to west surrounded to the left and right of the axes with spans of 22.5 degrees each (22.5° x 2 = 45°) (see Figure 1, e and Figure 2). The spans for the other cardinal directions result automatically from this and are also 45° each.

The colors of the color bars are assigned as follows and each has a width of 1.00 cm (see Figure 1, c). Other dimensions are conceivable and possible.

North: dark blue from 337.5 ° to 22.5

Northeast: yellow-orange from 22.5 ° to 67.5

East: green from 67.5 ° to 112.5

Southeast: green from 112.5° to 157.5

South: red from 157.5 ° to 202.5

Southwest: yellow-orange from 202.5 ° to 247.5

West: white from 247.5 ° to 292.5

Northwest: white from 292.5 ° to 337.5

In the fourth ring from the outside, the abbreviation of the cardinal direction is indicated in the respective span of a cardinal direction (see Figure 1, f).

The common abbreviations for the cardinal directions (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) are arranged in such a way that the best readability is achieved when the Feng Shui circle ruler is oriented to the north (see Figure 1, T).

To ensure that the Feng Shui circle ruler is also of great help to English-speaking people, the English abbreviations are added in the fields of the cardinal directions whose English name in the abbreviation differs from the German abbreviation.

The axes of the cardinal directions north - south and east - west are marked with thick lines (see Figure 1, e) for better orientation. The thickness of the lines is intended to be 1 mm. Other dimensions are conceivable and possible.

The Feng Shui circular ruler has slots for drawing at the seams between the individual cardinal directions. The slots are each 4.5 cm long and wide enough that you can draw a line on a surface underneath the Feng Shui circular ruler (e.g. paper, floor plan) by moving the lead of a pen (e.g. ballpoint pen) along the slot. Other dimensions are possible.

For better handling, the ruler is equipped with a handle that can also be removed.

In the following, an embodiment of the claimed invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

The Feng Shui circle ruler offers Feng Shui experts a great deal of relief in their work when carrying out evaluations.

The ruler has a diameter of 19.0 cm (see Figure 1, a).

Once the exact north of the property to be consulted (e.g. house, apartment, business premises) has been determined on the floor plan, the Feng Shui circular ruler (see Figure 1) is placed in the middle of the property to be consulted on the floor plan and rotated until the north on the floor plan exactly matches the north on the Feng Shui circular ruler (at 360°). Now you can determine with precision which room in the property to be consulted is facing which direction and where the exact boundaries of the individual directions are.

On the Feng Shui circular ruler, certain colour bars are assigned to each cardinal direction, so that the colour makes Feng Shui evaluation even easier for the expert. Each cardinal direction covers a range of 45°. Each colour bar is 1.0 cm wide (see Figure 1, c).

By means of drawing slots (see Figure 1, d) in the Feng Shui circular ruler it is possible to mark the areas of the individual cardinal directions precisely on a surface, e.g. paper;

to transfer a floor plan for the object to be consulted. The drawing slots are each 4.5 cm long and are wide enough so that you can draw a line on a surface, e.g. paper, by moving the lead of a pen (e.g. ballpoint pen) along the drawing slot.
The character slots are located in the fourth ring from the outside.

In order to be able to make more precise and finer calculations, it is important to have precise information down to the degree. With the Feng Shui circle ruler, the position of each degree in space can be determined precisely due to the 360° scale on it and the designation from 1 to 360° (see Figure 1, b and 1, g) and the position can easily be transferred to a base, e.g. paper; a floor plan.

Claims (11)

1. Feng Shui circular ruler: A circular ruler that can be used, for example, in the context of Feng Shui evaluations. The main components are a scale from 1° to 360°, a corresponding degree designation, the combination with the eight cardinal directions and the possibility of transferring the areas of the individual cardinal directions to a base (e.g. paper; floor plan) using drawing slots. (see Fig. 1) 2. Claim according to 1, characterized in that the ruler has a diameter of 19.00 cm. Other dimensions are conceivable and possible. (see Fig. 1, a) 3. Claim according to 1 or 2, characterized in that the circular ruler on the first ring has a scale from 1° to 360° on the outside. (see Fig. 1, b) 4. Claim according to 1 to 3, characterized in that the circular ruler on the second ring has the indication of the degrees from the outside. Claim according to 6, characterized in that each drawing slot has a length of 4.5 cm. A different length is conceivable and possible. The width of a drawing slot is to be such that it is possible to draw a line on a surface underneath (e.g. paper, floor plan) with a pen (e.g. ballpoint pen) by inserting it and moving it along the drawing slot. 8. Claim according to 1. to 7., characterized in that two diagonal lines run in the north-south direction and in the east-west direction and serve for better orientation (see Fig. 1, e). The thickness of these lines is considered to be 0.1 cm (1 mm). Another size is conceivable and possible. 9. Claim according to 1. to 8., characterized in that the width of the first and second rings from the outside is 0.5 cm each. Other dimensions are conceivable and possible. 10. Claim according to 1. to 9., characterized in that the ruler has a handle which is attached in the middle in the east-west direction and can be removed. (see Fig. 1, h). 11.
