Abstract
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind emulgatorfreie zweiphasige, flüssige Hautpflegemittel, die als Ölphase 50,0 bis 90,0 Gew.-% eines transparenten Öls und als Wasserphase 10,0 bis 50,0 Gew.-% einer wäßrigen Lösung, bezogen auf die Gesamtmenge des Hautpflegemittels, aufweisen, und frei von Emulgatoren, Tensiden und Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalzen sind. Durch Schütteln bildet sich für die Zeit der Anwendung eine vorübergehende, instabile homogene Emulsion, die sich durch Stehen lassen schnell wieder in zwei klare, scharf getrennte Phasen teilt.
Description
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind emulgatorfreie zweiphasige, flüssige
Hautpflegemittel, die als Ölphase 50,0 bis 90,0 Gewichtsprozent eines transparenten
Öls und als Wasserphase 10,0 bis 50,0 Gewichtsprozent einer wäßrigen Lösung,
bezogen auf die Gesamtmenge des Hautpflegemittels, aufweisen, und frei von
Emulgatoren, Tensiden und Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalzen sind. Durch Schütteln bildet
sich für die Zeit der Anwendung eine vorübergehende, instabile homogene
Emulsion, die sich durch Stehen lassen schnell wieder in zwei klare, scharf getrennte
Phasen teilt.
Hautpflegemittel haben insbesondere die Aufgabe, das Erscheinungsbild der Haut
zu verbessern, ihren physiologischen Status zu stabilisieren oder wieder
herzustellen, die Haut vor schädigenden äußeren Einflüssen zu schützen und die
Versorgung der Haut mit essentiellen Stoffen (Wasser, Fetten, Vitaminen,
Mineralstoffen) zu unterstützen.
Es sind eine Anzahl von flüssigen Hautpflegemitteln bekannt, die auf Grundlage
einer O/W-Emulsion aufgebaut sind und aus einer Öl- und Wasserphase bestehen.
Sie enthalten entweder Emulgatoren, Tenside, Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalze oder
trennen meistens in drei Phasen aus Öl, Wasser und einer dazwischen liegenden
Emulsionsschicht.
Aus der deutschen Patentanmeldung DE 41 26 969 A1 sind
konservierungsmittelfreie Kosmetika vom Typ O/W oder W/O bekannt, die einen
hohen Gehalt an Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalzen anorganischer oder organischer
Anionen enthalten. Nachteilig ist hierbei, daß Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalze in höheren
Konzentrationen Reizungen an Haut und Schleimhäuten hervorrufen können.
Gemäß dem deutschen Patent DE 41 00 490 C1 wird vorgeschlagen, zweiphasige
Hautbehandlungsmittel durch Verwendung von Emulgatoren, nämlich C12-C18
Fettsäuremonoester des Triglycerins, herzustellen.
Bekannt ist, daß Emulgatoren unter UV-Licht Hautreaktionen verursachen oder die
unerwünschte Penetration von chemischen Substanzen in die Haut fördern können.
Hautreaktionen können allergisch bedingt sein und von leichter Rötung bis zu
Lichtdermatosen mit Aknebildung reichen.
Die europäische Patentanmeldung EP 0 870 495 A2 offenbart die Verwendung von
einem oder mehreren Tensiden für kosmetische Reinigungsmittel auf Basis von
O/W-Emulsionen. Tenside können ebenfalls die nachteiligen Eigenschaften der
Emulgatoren aufweisen.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung war die Bereitstellung eines zweiphasigen,
flüssigen Hautpflegemittels bestehend aus einer Öl- und einer Wasserphase,
welches die Nachteile der bisher bekannten Hautschutzmittel nicht aufweist.
Gelöst wurde die Aufgabe durch die Bereitstellung eines zweiphasigen, flüssigen
Hautpflegemittels bestehend aus einer Ölphase und einer Wasserphase, welches
durch Schütteln eine einheitliche Phase bildet, gemäß Anspruch 1 und den
Unteransprüchen, gekennzeichnet dadurch, daß es sich nach dem Schütteln in zwei
klare Phasen trennt und daß die Ölphase einen Gehalt zwischen 50 bis 90
Gewichtsprozent eines transparenten Öls und die Wasserphase einen Gehalt
zwischen 10 bis 50 Gewichtsprozent einer wäßrigen Lösung, bezogen auf die
Gesamtmenge des Hautpflegemittels, aufweist, und daß es frei von Emulgatoren,
Tensiden und Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalzen ist.
Für den Fachmann war überraschend, daß durch die Verwendung von einer
Ölphase und einer Wasserphase gemäß vorliegender Erfindung, ohne Zusatz von
Emulgatoren, Tensiden oder Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalzen, eine klare Trennung in
zwei Phasen ohne eine dazwischen liegende, schmale und diffus verteilte dritte
Phase nach dem Schüttelvorgang erreicht werden kann, und daß sehr gute
Hautverträglichkeit und hervorragende Hautpflegeeigenschaften sowie lang
anhaltende Feuchte-Wirkung erzielt werden können.
Eine klare Trennung in zwei Phasen hat nicht nur optische Vorteile, sondern nimmt
auch vorteilhaft Einfluß auf in der Öl- und/oder Wasserphase enthaltene weitere
Wirk- und/oder Zusatzstoffe. Durch das Erzielen einer eindeutigen, klaren
Grenzfläche zwischen der Öl- und der Wasserphase und dem Vermeiden einer
diffusen Schicht dazwischen, die meist aus einem Gemisch, einer Ausflockung oder
einer Emulsion besteht, wird verhindert, daß sich Stoffe in der Ölphase und solche in
der Wasserphase in einem permanenten Zustand der Vermischung befinden. Das ist
in vielen Fällen unerwünscht und kann zu Ausflockungen oder Komplexbildungen
führen, die die Eigenschaften des Hautpflegemittels, insbesondere über längere Zeit,
nachteilig verändern können.
Vorzugsweise weist die Ölphase einen Gehalt zwischen 60,0 bis 80,0
Gewichtsprozent und die Wasserphase einen Gehalt zwischen 20,0 bis 40,0
Gewichtsprozent auf. Insbesondere weist die Ölphase einen Gehalt zwischen 65,0
bis 75,0 Gewichtsprozent und die Wasserphase einen Gehalt zwischen 25,0 bis 35,0
Gewichtsprozent auf, ganz besonders enthält die Ölphase einen Gehalt an 70,0
Gewichtsprozent und die Wasserphase einen Gehalt an 30,0 Gewichtsprozent.
Die Ölphase enthält bevorzugt natürliche Öle und/oder synthetische,
hemisynthetische bzw. synthetisch modifizierte Öle. Hierfür kommen beispielsweise
Ester von Alkancarbonsäuren, welche gesättigt oder ungesättigt, verzweigt oder
unverzweigt sein können, mit einer Länge von jeweils 8 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatomen, in
Betracht. Darüberhinaus kommen Esteröle aus Alkancarbonsäuren und Alkoholen,
aromatischer Carbonsäuren und Alkoholen in Frage. Beispiele solcher Öle und
Esteröle sind in der EP 0 870 495 genannt und kommen für die erfindungsgemäßen
Hautpflegemittel in Betracht. Alle diese Öle und Esteröle können als
Monosubstanzen und als Mischungen mit mehr als zwei Ölkomponenten im Sinne
der vorliegenden Erfindung dem Hautpflegemittel verwendet werden.
Als Beispiele für besonders bevorzugte Öle können genannt werden: Jojobaöl,
Dragoxat® EH2/044115 (INCI Bezeichnung: Octyl Octanoate), Eutanol® G 16 (INCI
Bezeichnung: Isocetyl Alcohol), Distelöl, Schercemol® DIA (INCI Bezeichnung:
Diisopropyl Adipate) oder Polysynlan® (INCI Bezeichnung: Hydrogenated
Polyisobutene). Auch diese Öle können einzeln oder als Gemisch in den
erfindungsgemäßen Hautpflegemitteln enthalten sein. Als Beispiel einer
bevorzugten Mischung ist zu nennen: Jojobaöl und Polysynlan in einer
Gesamtmenge von 50,0 bis 90,0 Gewichtsprozent, insbesondere von 60,0 bis 80,0
Gewichtsprozent, ganz besonders von 65,0 bis 75,0 Gewichtsprozent,
beispielsweise in einer Gesamtmenge von 70,0 Gewichtsprozent, jeweils bezogen
auf die Gesamtmenge des Hautpflegemittels.
Der Wasserphase können wasserlösliche Wirkstoffe, beispielsweise
Feuchthaltemittel, bevorzugt in einer Menge zwischen 5,0 und 20,0 Gewichtsprozent
(zum Beispiel Glycerin, Propylenglykol, Sorbitol, Butylenglykol oder Natriumlactat),
Alkohole (zum Beispiel Ethanol, Propanol, Isopropanol), vorzugsweise bis 15,0
Gewichtsprozent, und/oder Farbstoffe zugesetzt werden. Als bevorzugte
Feuchthaltemittel sind Glycerin und/oder Propylenglykol, in einer bevorzugten Menge
von 10,0 Gewichtsprozenten, zu nennen.
Das erfindungsgemäße Hautpflegemittel kann vorteilhafterweise zusätzlich
kosmetische Wirk-, Hilfs- oder Träger- und/oder Zusatzstoffe, enthalten.
Betreffend Wirk-, Hilfs- oder Träger- und/oder Zusatzstoffe kommen alle die für
Hautkosmetika üblichen und bekannten Wirk-, Zusatz-, Hilfs- und Trägerstoffe in
Betracht, ausgenommen Emulgatoren, Tenside und Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalze.
Grundsätzlich ist dem Fachmann bekannt, welche Wirk,- Zusatz-, Hilfs- und
Trägerstoffe in der Hautkosmetik verwendet werden, so daß die näheren
Ausführungen nur beispielhaften Charakter haben und nur zur weiteren
Veranschaulichung der vorliegenden Erfindung dienen sollen.
Als weitere Wirk-, Zusatz-, Hilfs- und Trägerstoffe seien daher beispielhaft nur einige
genannt, wobei diese Aufzählung nicht abschließend ist: Hautpflegestoffe (wie zum
Beispiel, Zucker, Proteine, Vitamine oder Provitamine, beispielsweise Biotin, Vitamin
C, Vitamin E, oder D-Panthenol), anorganische oder organische Säuren (wie zum
Beispiel Milchsäure, Citronensäure, Glykolsäure, Phosphorsäure), Aminosäuren (D-
und/oder L-Formen), nichtwässrige Lösungsmittel, Antioxidantien (wie zum Beispiel
Tocopherole oder Ester davon), Pflanzenextrakte, Bakterienlysate, Produkte von
Mikroorganismen, Duftstoffe bzw. Parfüme, UV-Lichtschutzmittel in Form von
chemischen bzw. organischen UV-Filtern, sowie Konservierungsmittel (zum Beispiel
Parabene), Alkohole, Phenoxetol® (INCI Bezeichnung: Phenoxyethanol).
Die Wirk-, Zusatz-, Hilfs- und Trägerstoffe können in den für den Fachmann bekannten
üblichen Mengen verwendet und nach an sich bekannten Methoden eingearbeitet
werden.
Neben kosmetischen Wirkstoffen können dem erfindungsgemäßen Hautpflegemittel
auch pharmazeutische Wirkstoffe zugesetzt werden, soweit sie sich in eine Öl-
und/oder Wasserphase einarbeiten lassen. Beispielsweise kommen hierfür die dem
Fachmann bekannten Wirkstoffe zur Behandlung von Hautverbrennungen oder
Wirkstoffe für die Wundheilung der Hautoberfläche in Betracht.
Die folgenden Beispiele sollen die vorliegende Erfindung näher erläutern, wobei die
für die betreffenden Substanzen angegebenen Prozente Gewichtsprozente
darstellen und auf die Gesamtmenge bzw. das Gesamtgewicht der Hautpflegemittel
bezogen sind.
Die in den Beispielen angegebenen Einzelsubstanzen und Rohstoffe sind kommerziell
erhältlich; sie können von den nachstehend angegeben Herstellern bezogen werden
und tragen folgende INCI Bezeichnungen (INCI/EU), wobei auf bekannte Literatur
Bezug genommen werden, beispielsweise auf International Cosmetic Ingredient
Dictionary and Handbook, Seventh Edition, 1997:

41 Frauen, von denen 30 trockene Haut und 11 Mischhaut aufwiesen, wurden mit
einem zweiphasigen Hautpflegemittel gemäß Beispiel 20 über eine Dauer von 2
Wochen unter Verwendung einer Gesamtmenge von 30 ml behandelt. Die
Auftragungen auf die Haut erfolgten 2 mal täglich, mit Gesamtvolumina von je ca. 2,0 ml.
Über die Hälfte der Personen beurteilte das Hautpflegemittel als voll ausreichend
für die alleinige Pflege der Haut. Das Hautgefühl wurde nach den Anwendungen von
der überwiegenden Mehrheit der Testpersonen wie folgt beurteilt:

Claims (5)
1. Flüssiges Hautpflegemittel bestehend aus einer Ölphase und einer
Wasserphase, welches durch Schütteln eine einheitliche Phase bildet,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es sich nach dem Schütteln in zwei klare
Phasen trennt und daß die Ölphase einen Gehalt zwischen 50,0 bis 90,0
Gewichtsprozent eines transparenten Öls und die Wasserphase einen Gehalt
zwischen 10,0 bis 50,0 Gewichtsprozent einer wäßrigen Lösung, bezogen
auf die Gesamtmenge des Hautpflegemittels, aufweist, und daß es frei von
Emulgatoren, Tensiden und Alkali- oder Erdalkalisalzen ist.
2. Flüssiges Hautpflegemittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Ölphase einen Gehalt zwischen 60,0 bis 80,0 Gewichtsprozent und die
Wasserphase einen Gehalt zwischen 20,0 bis 40,0 Gewichtsprozent aufweist.
3. Flüssiges Hautpflegemittel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Ölphase einen Gehalt zwischen 65,0 bis 75,0 Gewichtsprozent und die
Wasserphase einen Gehalt zwischen 25,0 bis 35,0 Gewichtsprozent aufweist.
4. Flüssiges Hautpflegemittel nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Ölphase einen Gehalt an 70,0 Gewichtsprozent und die Wasserphase
einen Gehalt an 30,0 Gewichtsprozent aufweist.
5. Flüssiges Hautpflegemittel nach Ansprüchen 1 bis 4, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß es zusätzlich kosmetische und/oder pharmazeutische
Wirk-, Hilfs- und/oder Zusatzstoffe enthält.
