Abstract
Haarsprayzusammensetzung, enthaltend DOLLAR A (A) 0,1 bis 15 Gew.-% festigende Polymere, DOLLAR A (B) 0,01 bis 0,5 Gew.-% eines oder mehrerer Siloxane aus der Gruppe Hexamethyldisiloxan, Dimethicone Copolyol und Laurylmethicone Copolyol ist, DOLLAR A (F) 0 bis 10 Gew.-% üblicher Zusatzstoffe, DOLLAR A (G) Treibmittel, DOLLAR A (H) organische Lösungsmittel und ggf. Wasser, DOLLAR A wobei die Komponenten (A) bis (E) zusammen 100 Gew.-% betragen.
Description
Für die Festigung von Haarfrisuren werden seit fast 50 Jahren
erfolgreich synthetische Polymere eingesetzt. Während in der An
fangszeit bevorzugt Vinyllactam-Homo- und Copolymere zum Einsatz
gelangten, haben später carboxylatgruppenhaltige Polymere zu
nehmend an Bedeutung gewonnen. Das gewünschte Eigenschaftsprofil
wie starke Festigung bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, Elastizität,
Auswaschbarkeit vom Haar und Verträglichkeit mit den übrigen
Formulierungskomponenten werden durch Copolymerisation einer
Kombination von hydrophoben, elastifizierenden und carboxyl
gruppen enthaltenden Monomeren erzielt (Lit.: Robert Y. Lochhead,
Vol. 103, December 1988, 24 ff., Rolf-Dieter Reinhardt Cosmetics
and Toiletries Manufacture World Wide 1995, 189m ff.).
Während die obengenannten Anforderungen heute von verschiedenen
Polymertypen erreicht werden, wird immer häufiger der Griff der
mit diesen Polymeren gefestigten Frisuren als unangenehm stumpf
und "unnatürlich" empfunden. Versuche durch Zusätze zu den Formu
lierungen zu einer Verbesserung zu gelangen, führten bisher nicht
zu voll befriedigenden Ergebnissen: Die Zugabe üblicher Weich
macher verbessert zwar den Griff, reduziert aber gleichzeitig in
vielen Fällen die Festigungswirkung.
In US 5,599,524 werden Haarsprayzusammensetzungen beschrieben,
die neben dem festigenden Polymer und üblichen Zusatzstoffen
bestimmte Siloxane (Hexamethyldisiloxan, Bisphenylhexamethicone)
in einer Menge von 0.6 bis 5 Gew.-% enthalten. Diese Haarspray
zusammensetzungen weisen eine verbesserte Sprühcharakteristik
auf, während andere Siloxane wie beispielsweise Dimethicone zu
keiner verbesserten Sprühcharakteristik beitragen (Beispiel 1).
Bei einer Polymermenge von 5 Gew.-% und einer Siloxanmenge von 1
Gew.-% besitzen diese Haarsprayzusammensetzungen bezüglich Glanz,
Steifheit, Trockenkämmbarkeit und Flaking keine Vorteile gegen
über den Siloxan-freien Haarsprayzusammensetzungen (Beispiel 3).
Überraschenderweise wurde jetzt gefunden, daß Haarsprayzusammen
setzungen mit einem genau definierten relativ niedrigen Gehalt
an spezifischen Siloxanen besonders vorteilhafte anwendungs
technische Eigenschaften besitzen.
Die Erfindung betrifft Haarsprayzusammensetzung enthaltend
- A) 0,1 bis 15 Gew.-% festigende Polymere,
- B) 0,01 bis 0,5 Gew.-% eines oder mehrerer Siloxane aus der Gruppe Hexamethyldisiloxan, Dimethicone Copolyol und Lauryl methicone Copolyol ist,
- C) 0 bis 10 Gew.-% üblicher Zusatzstoffe,
- D) Treibmittel,
- E) organische Lösungsmittel und ggf. Wasser,
wobei die Komponenten (A) bis (E) zusammen 100 Gew.-% betragen.
Geeignete festigende Polymere (A) sind seit langem dem Fachmann
bekannt, insbesondere solche aus Copolymere aus Vinylacetat/-
Crotonsäure/Vinylneodecanoat; Octylacrylamid/Acrylat/Butylamino
ethyl Methacrylat; Vinylacetat/ Crotonat; Polyvinylpyrrolidon
(PVP); Polyvinylpyrrolidon/Vinylacetat; PVP/Acrylat; Vinylacetat/-
Crotonsäure/Vinylpropionat; Acrylat/Acrylamid; Acrylat/Octyl -
acrylamid und Alkylester von Polyvinylmethylether/Maleinsäure
anhydrid; Diglycol/Cyclohexandimethanol/Isophthalat/Sulfoiso
phthalat; Vinylacetat/Butylmaleat/Isobornylacrylat; Vinyl
caprolactam/PVP/Dimethylaminoethylmethacrylat; Vinylacetat/Alkyl -
maleat-Halbester/N-substituierte Acrylamid Terpolymere; Vinyl
caprolactam/Vinylpyrrolidon/Methacrylamidopropyltrimethyl
ammoniumchlorid Terpolymer; Methacrylat/Acrylat Copolymer Amin
salz; Methacrylsäure/Tert. Butylacrylat u. ggf. weitere Acryl
ester.
Bei der Verwendung von carboxylatgruppenhaltigen Polymeren (A)
werden die Carboxylatgruppen der Polymerisate, zweckmäßigerweise
teilweise oder vollständig neutralisiert. Diese Neutralisierung
kann bei der Herstellung der Polymeren oder bei Endformulierung
der Haarsprayzusammensetzung erfolgen.
Besonders geeignete Polymere (A) sind Vinylpyrrolidon Copolymere,
wie sie beispielsweise unter dem Markennamen LUVISKOL® von der
BASF Aktiengesellschaft vertrieben werden und Acrylatcopolymere
wie sie beispielsweise unter dem Markennamen LUVIMER® und
ULTRAHOLD® von der BASF Aktiengesellschaft vertrieben werden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Haarfestigungsmittel enthalten die Polymere
(A) in einer Menge von 0,5-15, bevorzugt von 2-10 Gew.-%.
Die Siloxane (B) sind bekannt und kommerziell erhältlich. Hexa
methyldisiloxan wird beispielsweise von der Firma Rhone-Poulenc
unter dem Markennamen MIRASIL HMS® verkauft.
Dimethicone Copolyol wird beispielsweise von Dow Chemicals Inc.
unter dem Markennamen DOW CORNING 190®, oder von Union Carbide
unter den Markennamen SILWET COPOLYMER L-7500®, L-7087®, L-7602®,
L-7622® oder SILSOFT 900® vertrieben.
Laurylmethicone Copolyol wird beispielsweise von Dow Chemicals
Inc. unter dem Markennamen DOW CORNING 5200® vertrieben.
Die Siloxane (B) werden in einer Menge von 0,01-0,5 Gew.-%,
bevorzugt 0,03-0,25 Gew.-% eingesetzt. Die Mengenangabe bezieht
sich auf die fertig formulierte Haarsprayzusammensetzung.
Die Siloxane können sowohl als Einzelverbindungen als auch als
Mischung verwendet werden.
Als Zusatzstoffe (C) können übliche Zusatzstoffe wie Lichtschutz
mittel, Parfümöle, Farbstoffe, Antistatika, Konservierungsmittel,
Verdicker in einer Menge bis zu 10 Gew.-% zugegeben werden.
Als Treibmittel (D) können üblicherweise Kohlenwasserstoffe wie
Propan, Butan, Isobutan oder Mischungen davon allein oder in Ver
bindung mit komprimierten Gasen wie Stickstoff, Luft oder Kohlen
dioxid verwendet werden. (D) wird üblicherweise in Mengen von
10 bis 60 Gew.-% eingesetzt.
Als Komponente (E) können organische Lösungsmittel allein oder
zusammen mit Wasser eingesetzt werden. Bevorzugt werden flüchtige
Alkohole wie Methanol, Ethanol, Propanol, Isopropanol, Butanol,
Ketone wie Aceton, Ether wie Dimethoxymethan und Dimethylether
und Methylenchlorid,
Bevorzugt werden als (E) Ethanol oder Ethanol/Wasser Gemische,
insbesondere 80 : 20 verwendet.
Die Komponente (E) wird üblicherweise in Mengen von 25 bis
90 Gew.-% eingesetzt.
Im folgenden wurde eine Reihe von Haarsprayzusammensetzungen
hergestellt und auf ihre anwendungstechnischen Eigenschaften
überprüft. Der Übersichtlichkeit wegen sind die Ergebnisse in
Tabelle 1 zusammengefaßt (Bewertung wie in der Schule).
Claims (3)
1. Haarsprayzusammensetzung enthaltend
- A) 0,1 bis 15 Gew.-% festigende Polymere,
- B) 0,01 bis 0,5 Gew.-% eines oder mehrerer Siloxane aus der Gruppe Hexamethyldisiloxan, Dimethicone Copolyol und Laurylmethicone Copolyol ist,
- C) 0 bis 10 Gew.-% üblicher Zusatzstoffe,
- D) Treibmittel,
- E) organische Lösungsmittel und ggf. Wasser, wobei die Komponenten (A) bis (E) zusammen 100 Gew.-% betragen.
2. Haarsprayzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei (B) Hexa
methyldisiloxan ist.
3. Haarsprayzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei (A) ein
Acrylatcopolymer ist.
