Die lose Anordnung dieses leieht $erreUbarn Sohuttz-
umschlags bietet bei der Bmmtmmg des Baches kein
Schutz t zumal auch die Buchka : nten ungeschÜtzt sind.
Im Gegensatz zu den vorerwähnten. bekannten Aus-
t'ührungen betrifft die vor liegende einen
neuen B<icheii3bandstofft der aus einem Papierbogan bzw.
neuen Bucheinbandsto
einer Pierbahn mit einer fest aufgeklabten 0der auf-
gewalzten durchsichtigen lämststeffolie besteht, die
die Außenseite des Bucheinbands bildet. Vorteilhaft
wird für diese durchsichtige bedruckte oder unbedruckte
Kunststoffolie ein haltbarer, durchsichtiger, filmartiger
Werkstoff verwendet. Diese dünne, beispielsweise nur

oc5 mm starke durchsichtige Folie wird mit ihrer ganzen
Fläche fest auf das Papier bzw. einen Karton aufgeklebt.
Bei Verwendung einer geeigneten ? oli@ aBS. diese even-
tu. ell such ohne ? erwendting eines Klebstoffes e-uf Papier
tuell aue.-li ohne Verwe-1. dUng eines Klebstoffes a-cf
bzw. Kerton heiß oder feucht aufgewalzt werden.

wie ein Buch mit Rückenlehnen. Infolgedessen kann der
neue Bucheinbandstoff'als zusammenhängender Bezug für
die Buchdecke einschließlich Buchrücken verbandet werden,
so daß also kein Leinenrücken mehr erforderlich ist.
Der neue Bucheinbandetoff kaxm für Bucheinbände
aller Art Verwendung finden, ist jedoch besonders für

Jugendbücher und Leihbcher geeignet.

In Fig. 1 und 2 ist mit 1 ein Begen aus Papier
oder Karton bezeichnet, der in einer Druckmaschine mit
Aufdrucken 2-7 versehen wird. Der beispielsweise gezeigte
Bogen l ist fSr ier Bchdecs bestima d*h. der
Bogen wird nachträglich nach des gestrichelten Idnisa
8 und 9 zersehnitten. Die Aufdruck 2-5, die Bilder
oder dergl. darstellen können, bilden jeweils die
Vorderseite der Bauchdecke, die aufdrucke 6 sind jeweils
für den Bushrücken und die Aufdrucke ?, z. B. Verlags-
zeichen, für die Rückseite der Buchdecke bzw. Buch-
einband bstiNsst (vergl. Fig. 3).
Auf der. vorbeschriebenen, aus der Druckmaschine
herauskommenden Bogen 1 wird nachträglich eine dünne
durchsichtige I'olie lo aufgeklebt oder aufgewalzt, so

daß diese Folie sit ihrer gesasten fläche fest urd
innig mit dem Bogen l verbunden ist. Diese Verbindung
1 und lo bildet einen vorzüglichen ucheinbandstoff
für die Buchdecke. Eine solche ist beiapielswej se in
? ig. 3 bis 5 veraaschaulicht. Bei dieser Buchdecke
bildet der Bucheinbandstoff 1. lc den zusammenhängenden
Bezug für die Euchdeckel einschließlich Buchrücken 11.
Da der PucheincaD'istcff, wie bei 12 angedeutet, auch
um die Deckelkaeten herumgeschlagen ist. 5Q ist die
gesamte Bauchdecke einschließlich Kanten ud Buchrücken
vollommeE. geschützt, d. h. die Buchdecke ist abwaschbar
und kann nicht verschamtzen.
