Dies wird gemäß der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, daß zu beiden Seiten der Trennwand je ein quer zu den Kanälen beweglicher, im Querschnitt winkelförmiger und zugleich die Abschirmeinrichtung bildender Schieber angeordnet ist und die Schieber so miteinander gekoppelt sind, daß sie entgegengesetzte Bewegungen ausführen, und daß jeder Scheiber in einer Endstellung den auf derselben Seite der Trennwand gelegenen Teil des einen der beiden Kanäle und in der anderen Endstellung den entsprechenden Teil des anderen Kanals oberseitig und stirnseitig abdeckt und in der Verschiebungsrichtung so lang ist, daß die Freigabe eines Kanals erst dann erfolgt, wenn dieser durch den auf der anderen Seite der Trennwand angeordneten Schieber abgedeckt ist. Beide Kanäle sind hierbei wechselweise auf der einen und anderen Seite der Trennwand von einem Schieber verschlossen. Der Boden der Kanäle kann daher waagerecht verlaufen. In beiden Endstellungen der Schieber ist sowohl für den Kunden als auch für den Bankbeamten je ein Kanal frei zugänglich, um darin Formulare, Geldscheine od. dgl. abzulegen oder aus den Kanälen zu entnehmen.
