Description

Die Herstellung von nicht gewebten oder nicht gewirkten Faservliesen ist bekannt. Für die Haltbarkeit bzw. Festigkeit derartiger Vliese ist es wesentlich, daß die einzelnen Fasern genügend aneinander haften, was durch verschiedene Maßnahmen erzielbar ist. So ist z. B. in der deutschen Auslegeschrift 1 088 016 vorgeschlagen, quellbare Fasern auf Basis von z. B. Polyvinylalkohol zusammen mit nicht quellbaren Fasern zu einem Vlies zu verarbeiten, mit Wasser zu tränken und unter Druck bei erhöhter Temperatur zu trocknen. Dabei dienen die gequollenen bzw. angelösten PoIyvinylalkoholfasern als Verhaftungsmittel für die anderen Fasern.The production of non-woven or non-knitted fiber webs is known.
