Hautpflege- und Hautschutzmittel Zusatz zur Patentanmeldung C 11738 IVa/30 h (Auslegeschrift 1025 101) Die Hauptpatentanmeldung C 11738IVa/30h betrifft ein Hautpflege- und Hautschutzmittel, das durch einen Gehalt an reduzierenden Zuckern und Aminosäuren im wäßrigen Medium gekennzeichnet ist. In weiterer Ausbildung der Erfindung wurde festgestellt, daß ein Gehalt an Harnstoff zusammen mit Aminosäuren sowie reduzierenden Zuckern besonders wirkungsvoll ist. Bekanntlich sind die Abwehrkräfte der Hornschicht der Lebenden Haut gegen schädliche Einwirkungen der Außenwelt hauptsächlich an die in ihr enthaltenen wasserlöslichen Stoffe, insbesondere Aminosäuren, gebunden. Die Erkenntnis dieser Wirkung des Harnstoffs als Schutzmittel für die Erhaltung der hauteigenen Aminosäuren ist in der Kosmetik und auf dem Gebiet des Hautschutzes gegen gewerbliche Hautschäden als wesentlicher Fortschritt zu betrachten. Die günstige Konzentration an Harnstoff in den Zubereitungen beträgt 2 bis 5°/o.
