Description
- Hautpflege- und Hautschutzmittel Zusatz zur Patentanmeldung C 11738 IVa/30 h (Auslegeschrift 1025 101) Die Hauptpatentanmeldung C 11738IVa/30h betrifft ein Hautpflege- und Hautschutzmittel, das durch einen Gehalt an reduzierenden Zuckern und Aminosäuren im wäßrigen Medium gekennzeichnet ist. In weiterer Ausbildung der Erfindung wurde festgestellt, daß ein Gehalt an Harnstoff zusammen mit Aminosäuren sowie reduzierenden Zuckern besonders wirkungsvoll ist. Bekanntlich sind die Abwehrkräfte der Hornschicht der Lebenden Haut gegen schädliche Einwirkungen der Außenwelt hauptsächlich an die in ihr enthaltenen wasserlöslichen Stoffe, insbesondere Aminosäuren, gebunden. Durch die zunehmende Anwendung von Chemikalien verschiedenster Art zur Behandlung der Haut bereits im Alltagslehen, insbesondere für Waschzwecke, werden aber die Schutzstoffe der Haut in gefahrbringender Weise entzogen.
- Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß dem Verlust der freien Aminosäuren der lebenden Haut durch die obengenannten Einflüsse mit dem Mittel nach der Hauptpatentanmeldung begegnet werden kann, wenn diesem außer Zucker und Aminosäuren auch noch Harnstoff zugesetzt wird, und zwar vorzugsweise in Mengen von 2 bis 5 0/o, bezogen auf die Gesamtmenge des Mittels. Die Erkenntnis dieser Wirkung des Harnstoffs als Schutzmittel für die Erhaltung der hauteigenen Aminosäuren ist in der Kosmetik und auf dem Gebiet des Hautschutzes gegen gewerbliche Hautschäden als wesentlicher Fortschritt zu betrachten. Die günstige Konzentration an Harnstoff in den Zubereitungen beträgt 2 bis 5°/o.
- Diese Mengen lassen sich gut in die Zubereitungen einarbeiten. Den Vorzug haben hierbei wasserlösliche Trägerstoffe, welche mit dem Harnstoff keine Additionsverbindungen eingehen, wie es z. B. von den Lipoiden bekannt ist.
- Beispiel 1,500/0 Tragant und 0,25°/o Agar-Agar werden mit 85,65°/o Wasser zur Quellung gebracht; anschließend werden 50/a Harnstoff bis zur Auflösung hineingerührt. Man ergänzt das Gemisch bis auf 100 Teile gemäß der Hauptpatentanmeldung mit Zuckern, vorzugsweise mit Pentosen, und mit Aminosäuren, vorzugsweise mit Glykokoll oder Histidin, welche die physiologischen Abwehrkräfte der Hornschicht zu stärken vermögen.
- Bekanntlich treten nach Waschungen mit Wasser und Seife, besonders aber mit Netzmitteln, nachweisbare Verluste von hauteigenen, freien Aminosäuren, von welchen etwa 18 identifiziert sind, ein. Werden aber die Hände mit der obigen Zubereitung eingerie ben, so wird der Verlust an den hauteigenen Aminosäuren, z. B. beim Waschen mit 300 ccm 0,5°/oiger Alkylarylsulfonatlösung, auf ein Minimum herabgesetzt oder aufgehoben.
- PATNTANSPRUC: Hautpflege- und Hautschutzmittel nach Patentanmeldung C 11738 IVa/30h, gekennzeichnet durch einen zusätzlichen Gehalt an Harnstoff, vorzugsweise in Mengen von 2 bis 50/0.
