Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Instrumententafel-Abdeckung mit einer Airbagklappe (2) für ein Fahrzeug mit einem in der Abdeckung (1) im Scharnierbereich der Airbagklappe (2) durchgehenden und das Klappenscharnier (6) bildenden Gewebeband (7), welches im Scharnierbereich eine Faltung mit einer Überlänge aufweist. In einer allgemein bekannten gattungsgemäßen Anordnung ist ein Airbagmodul, insbesondere ein Beifahrerairbagmodul hinter einer Instrumententafel-Abdeckung mit einer Airbagklappe montiert. Bei einer Airbagaktivierung drängt der sich entfaltende Airbag von hinten gegen die Airbagklappe und öffnet diese für einen vollständigen Austritts des Airbags in seine Schutzfunktion. Die stoßartig öffnende Airbagklappe soll dabei zum Schutz der Insassen weiter mit der Instrumententafel-Abdeckung verbunden bleiben und zudem sollen auch möglichst wenige Bestandteile aus dem Material der Abdeckung und der Airbagklappe abgelöst und/oder herausgebrochen werden.In a generally known generic arrangement, an airbag module, in particular a passenger airbag module, is mounted behind an instrument panel cover with an airbag flap. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass die Faltung mit der Überlänge als z-förmig in der Gewebebandebene aneinanderliegende Doppelfaltung ausgeführt ist. Dadurch muss die Überlänge im Vergleich zum Stand der Technik nicht aus dem Abdeckungsteil abstehend herausgeführt werden sondern kann als Doppelfalte bei der Herstellung im Werkzeug mit eingelegt und eingespritzt werden. Beim Öffnen der Airbagklappe löst und entfaltet sich die Überlänge dann aus dem Abdeckungsteil. Da hier zusätzliche Maßnahmen zum Klemmen und Abdichten der Faltung im Werkzeug wie beim Stand der Technik entfallen, ist der Herstellungsaufwand insgesamt erheblich reduziert.This object is achieved in that the folding with the excess length as z-shaped in the fabric tape plane adjacent double folding is performed.
