Abstract

Storage of materials liable to explosion is in a safety cabinet protected against unauthorised access. The cabinet has a body (1) and a closable door (2). When a temperature rise occurs, a bimetal (3) bends, causing a locking arm (4) to pivot around a rotary point (d) against the force of a spring (5), thus releasing the locking (6) of the door, normally operated with a key. This enables the door to pivot outwards. In the event of an explosion caused by further heating and through the rising pressure inside the cabinet the door pivots around its hinge (7), freeing the unloading aperture.

Description

Mainly in the private sector today of marksmen, reloaders, hunters and Firecracker for storing powder for Loading cartridge cases and for storing Ammunition for long and small arms safes and massive steel and wooden cabinets used. The License holder for explosive Substances are legally obliged to do so without authorization They did not allow access to these substances lichen. Don't keep the unauthorized, or there is little resistance not permitted. For this reason, camp today Persons who have a permit for explosive possess dangerous substances (e.g. reloaders, Sports shooters etc.) mainly these substances in safes and massive wooden cabinets. At a fire now creates the great danger of unwanted ignition of the explosive material. In an emergency, the extreme containment of the igniting substances in the vault a huge blast with no foreseeable, devastating consequences.

B. Tresor) verringert. The invention has for its object a To create a cabinet that is explosive  dangerous material from unauthorized access secures and at the same time the danger in case of fire for the life and limb of the people present (Po lizei, firefighters, rescue personnel, etc.), as well as property damage, compared to the ge customary cupboards (e.g. safe) reduced.

The above object is there according to the invention by solved that a release mechanism at a Temperature rise above a limit, e.g. B. in follow a fire, the locking one Relief opening cover (e.g. safe door) releases. The relief opening causes even before the ignition temperature of the explosive material off expansion possibility for one upon further heating explosion is created. This can occur inside the cabinet Combustion gas (possibly only through the sluggish mass of the door is dampened when spinning) through the resulting relief opening soft and an uncontrolled demolition of the Cabinet with splinter effect and pressure wave will be prevented. So that the explosive effect and explosive effects significantly reduced.

The invention relates to a safety cabinet for the storage of explosive substances, the explosive effect of what is stored in it explosive material in the explosion  case, e.g. B. excessive heating in the fire case of the fabric, reduced.

The safety cabinet consists of a body 1 and a lockable and lockable door 2 , so that the stored explosive substance is secured against unauthorized access. Due to a rise in temperature, a bimetal 3 bends, and thus causes the locking arm 4 to pivot against the spring force of the spring 5 about its pivot point d and thus the lock 6 of the door, which is normally to be actuated with a key (number lock, etc.) 2 releases. The door 2 can now swing open by releasing the lock 6 . In the event of an explosion of the stored material, due to further heating, and due to the rising pressure inside the safety cabinet, the door 2 swings around the door hinge 7 and releases the relief opening. Since the pressure increase during the detonation of explosive substances takes place gradually, that is not in an infinitely short time, and the door lock 6 was released before the explosion by the bimetal, it happens that during the explosion of the substances stored in the safety cabinet, while the explosion pressure builds up strongly, which opens a large pressure relief opening early in the explosion stage through the door 2 swinging open to the explosion pressure. As a result, unwanted insulation, as z. B. would occur in the event of fire in a cabinet that is currently used for the storage of explosive substances (e.g. safe). In the event of an explosion, the explosive effect (splinter, pressure wave) is extremely reduced, which also significantly reduces the risk to life and limb of the people present (e.g. firefighters, police officers, etc.) and possible property damage (e.g. to buildings) becomes. Also known are possibly additional relief bores in the cabinet (e.g. in the body), which can bring additional relief, but are not absolutely necessary. The function of the invention is fully effective and sufficient even without additional relief holes in the safety cabinet.

The safety cabinet is therefore safer and better for storing explosion-proof dangerous material (e.g. nitrocellulose powder, used to reload cartridge cases will be suitable as a conventional safe or massive wooden cupboard, as it is today sendfach z. B. of marksmen, reloaders, Hunters and firecrackers to keep Powder is used.
