Der Wecker hat die Bestimmung, an Thüren, Fenstern, Koffern und Schränken beim Oeffnen derselben eine Detonation zu verursachen, und kann auch mit demselben ein Wachszündfaden angezündet oder eine Patrone angebracht werden, die explodirend ein stark riechendes Gas verbreitet.The alarm clock is used on doors, windows, suitcases and cupboards when they are opened it can cause a detonation, and it can also cause a wax thread to detonate with it ignited or a cartridge attached which explodes a strongly smelling gas spread.
