Abstract

The invention concerns a window comprising a wooden frame (2) and insulating glazing (4) fixed in the wooden frame (2). The external glass pane (11) of the insulating glazing (4) is larger than the internal glass pane (10) and extends beyond it at the edge. The insulating glazing (4) is inserted in the rabbet of the wooden frame (2) so that the marginal zone extending beyond the external glass pane (11) externally overlaps the support wing (5) of the wooden frame (2). In the marginal zone of the insulating glazing, section lengths (16) with transversal U-shaped cross-section with the open side facing towards the edge, are arranged inside the adhesive sealing compound (15). Inserts (25) are arranged in the support wing (5) of the wooden frame (2). Inside these inserts (25) are screwed set screws (23) which engage into the U-shaped section lengths and fix the insulating glazing (4) in the wooden frame (2).
