Abstract

La presente invención se refiere al uso de un catalizador para convertir un alcohol en olefinas ligeras en un procedimiento de deshidratación en el que dicho catalizador comprende una zeolita modificada con fósforo y se fabrica mediante un procedimiento que comprende las siguientes etapas, en este orden, a) la parte esencial del fósforo se introduce en una zeolita que comprende al menos un anillo de diez miembros en la estructura, b) la zeolita modificada con fósforo de la etapa a) se mezcla con al menos un componente seleccionado entre uno o más ligandos, sales de metales alcalinotérreos, sales de metales de las tierras raras, arcillas y aditivos de conformación, b)* fabricar un cuerpo de catalizador a partir de la mezcla b), c) una etapa de secado opcional o una etapa de secado opcional seguida de una etapa de lavado, d) una etapa de calcinación, d*) una etapa de lavado opcional seguida de secado, e) de manera opcional, una pequeña parte de fósforo se introduce en el curso de la etapa b) o b)* o al final de la etapa b) o b)*.
