Abstract
La presente se refiere, en una primera realización, al uso de un catalizador para convertir al menos un alcohol en olefinas livianas en un proceso de deshidratación para producir una olefina que tiene el mismo número de átomos de carbono que el alcohol, en el que dicho catalizador comprende una zeolita modificada con fósforo y es realizada por medio de un procedimiento que comprende las siguientes etapas en este orden, a) proveer una zeolita que comprende al menos un anillo de diez miembros en la estructura, opcionalmente vaporizar dicha zeolita, b) mezclar dicha zeolita de la etapa a) con al menos un componente seleccionado entre uno o más ligantes y aditivos de conformación, después conformar dicha mezcla, c) opcionalmente realizar un intercambio iónico, d) opcionalmente vaporizar el catalizar conformado, de modo opcional antes de la etapa c), siendo al menos una entre dicha vaporización de la etapa d) y la vaporización de la etapa a) obligatoria, e) introducir fósforo en el catalizador para introducir al menos 0,1% en peso de fósforo, realizándose dicha introducción mediante impregnación seca o deposición química al vapor, f) opcionalmente introducir un metal, opcionalmente en forma simultánea con la etapa e), g) opcionalmente lavar el catalizador, h) opcionalmente calcinar el catalizador, i) vaporizar el catalizador, que también se denomina como etapa de equilibrado. En una segunda realización puede introducirse el fósforo por cualesquier medio y en la etapa i) la severidad de vaporización (X) es al menos aproximadamente 2. En dicha segunda realización, el catalizador ventajosamente es vaporizado a una temperatura superior a 625ºC, preferentemente en el intervalo 700 a 800ºC. El metal de la etapa f) es ventajosamente calcio.
