Abstract

RESUMEN Se proporciona un método realizado por un nodo de red para configurar un Protocolo de Convergencia de Datos por Paquete (PDCP) para un dispositivo inalámbrico en una red de comunicaciones. La red de comunicaciones comprende un primer tipo de red central y un segundo tipo de red central. El nodo de red decide (801) si el nodo de red es un nodo maestro o un nodo secundario para el dispositivo inalámbrico. Cuando el nodo de red es un nodo maestro, configura (803) el PDCP para el dispositivo inalámbrico en base a qué tipo entre el primer y segundo tipo de red central se conecta el dispositivo inalámbrico. Cuando el nodo de red es un nodo secundario, configura (804) el PDCP para el dispositivo inalámbrico 120 en base a una cualquiera o más entre: A qué tipo entre el primer y segundo tipo de nodo maestro se conecta el nodo de red y a qué tipo entre el primer y segundo tipo de red central se conecta el dispositivo inalámbrico. El primer tipo y el segundo tipo están relacionados con diferentes generaciones de redes de telecomunicaciones. Publ. Fig. 8
