Abstract

本实用新型公开一种电连接器组件,可电性连接电路板与对接连接器,包括绝缘本体、若干收容于绝缘本体的导电端子、及电路板,绝缘本体设有与对接连接器配合的配合面以及与配合面相对的对接面,对接面上设有与电路板相连的卡持部,电路板设有上、下表面,导电端子设有延伸出对接面的接触部以表面粘着方式与电路板的上表面电性连接,其中对接面上凸设有若干挡板,所述电路板收容在挡板与导电端子的接触部之间。所述挡板抵靠在电路板的下表面上,可防止焊接时,电路板受高温而产生变形。

电连接器组件
【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器组件,特别涉及一种可安装于电路板与对接连接器配合的Serial ATA类型的电连接器组件。
【背景技术】
业界公知,Serial ATA(Serial Advances Technology Attachment)是用于在存储装置(如硬盘驱动器、软盘驱动器和光盘驱动器等)与计算机的主机板间传递高速信号的一种信号传输界面。相关技术可参考中国专利公告第2582221号、中国专利公告第1113432号、美国专利公告US6,832,929、台湾专利公告第249256号等等。
Serial ATA连接器通常是安装在电路板上,其具有一绝缘本体,若干导电端子收容在其内并部分延伸出绝缘本体以通过通孔焊接、表面粘着和压入式连接方式与电路板连接。其中,导电端子通过表面粘着方式与电路板连接的Serial ATA连接器,如美国专利公告第6,790,053号所揭示的一种连接器,由于导电端子是通过焊接的方式与电路板连接,电路板受到高温容易出现翘曲变形,导致空焊等不良缺陷。
鉴于上述状况,确有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服上述电连接器存在的缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型要解决的技术问题是提供一种电连接器组件,其可以防止导电端子焊接至电路板时电路板受热而产生变形。
为解决上述技术问题,本实用新型提供一种电连接器组件,包括绝缘本体、若干收容于绝缘本体的导电端子、及电路板,绝缘本体设有与对接连接器配合的配合面以及与配合面相对的对接面,对接面上设有与电路板相连的卡持部,电路板设有上、下表面,导电端子设有延伸出对接面的接触部以表面粘着方式与电路板的上表面电性连接,其中所述对接面凸设有若干挡板,所述电路板收容在挡板与导电端于的接触部之间,所述挡板抵靠在电路板的下表面上。
与相关技术相比,本实用新型电连接器组件的绝缘本体在对接面凸设有若干扶持电路板的挡板,可以防止导电端子焊接至电路板时电路板因受高温而翘曲变形。

【具体实施方式】
请参考图1至图3所示,本实用新型电连接器组件100,可电性连接电路板2与对接连接器(未图示),以达成不同电气元件之间的电性连接。本实用新型电连接器组件100包括电连接器1、电路板2,其中电连接器1包括绝缘本体10、容置于绝缘本体10中的若干导电端子11;所述电路板2设有上、下表面20、21且上表面20上设有若干电路图案(未图示)。
绝缘本体10大致呈纵长状,其设有与对接连接器配合的配合面101、以及与配合面101相对的对接面102。贯穿配合面101及对接面102设有若干端子收容槽(未标号)以收容导电端子11。导电端子11设有延伸出对接面102的接触部111,该接触部111通过表面粘着技术连接至电路板2,其与电路板2上表面20上对应设置的电路图案电性接触,从而电连接器1与电路板2之间达成电性连接,对接连接器的导电部位在配合面101与导电端子11电性连接。
绝缘本体10的对接面102上延伸设有若干卡持部,所述卡持部包括设于绝缘本体10纵长方向两端的两个第一卡持部1021、以及位于两第一卡持部1021之间的第二卡持部1022,其中第一、第二卡持部1021、1022上均设有收容槽(未标号)以收容电路板2,并且两第一卡持部1021的相向外侧是封闭的,从而电连接器1与电路板2连接在一起且可防止电路板2左右移动。所述收容槽的位置与导电端子11接触部111的位置大致对应,当电路板2插入到收容槽中时,导电端子11的接触部111位于电路板2上表面20之上,以方便导电端子11的接触部111与电路板2上表面20上的电路图案接触。
对接面102上导电端子11的下方凸设有若干不连续的挡板1023,所述挡板1023大致呈板状,其自由端设有倒角(未标号)。所述挡板1023设于延伸出绝缘本体10对接面102的若干导电端子11的下方,且其位置与卡持部上的收容槽位置对应,但略低于收容槽,如此,当电路板2插入到收容槽中时,所述若干挡板1023刚好能抵靠在电路板2的下表面21上。由此,当导电端子11的接触部111焊接至电路板2时,凭借挡板1023的扶持,电路板2不会因受高温而产生变形,继而可避免产品产生空焊等不良现象。

Claims (8)

1.一种电连接器组件,包括绝缘本体、若干收容于绝缘本体的导电端子、及电路板,绝缘本体设有配合面以及与配合面相对的对接面,对接面上设有与电路板相连的卡持部,电路板设有上、下表面,导电端子设有延伸出对接面的接触部,以通过表面粘着方式与电路板的上表面电性连接,其特征在于:所述对接面凸设有若干挡板,所述电路板收容在挡板与导电端子的接触部之间,所述挡板抵靠在电路板的下表面上。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述若干挡板呈连续板状。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述若干挡板的自由端设有倒角。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述若干挡板为不连续板状。
5.如权利要求1-4中任一项权利要求所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述卡持部上设有收容槽以收容电路板。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体大致呈纵长状,所述卡持部包括设于绝缘本体纵向两端的两个第一卡持部、以及位于两第一卡持部之间的第二卡持部。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一卡持部的相向外侧是封闭的,以防止电路板左右移动。
8.如权利要求6或7所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述收容槽的位置与挡板的位置对应,且挡板的位置比收容槽的位置略低,电路板收容于收容槽之中时,挡板抵靠在电路板的下表面。
