Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种涂有碳酸钙的新型薄片颜料。更具体地说,本发明涉及一种涂有碳酸钙的新型薄片颜料,它具有合适的皮肤粘附性、低光泽和优异的遮皱效果、能够防止由于出汗和皮脂吸收而感觉不快,因此特别适用于化妆品领域。
迄今在化妆品领域中,已使用无机粉末如天然云母、合成云母、滑石、绢云母和硅石片作为增量剂。但它们不具有足够的化妆品所需功能,如皮肤粘附性、铺展性、遮皱效果、等。例如,如果使用天然云母作为增量剂,会出现光泽且皮肤粘附性强,这不令人满意。滑石并不优选,因为其中可能包含石棉,此外它太滑且目前化妆品领域所要求的“沉降性”(这是指,在施用到皮肤上时,它在起始阶段滑动性良好,且在最后阶段,它很好地沉降在皮肤上)不好。
例如,在包含云母的油粉底的情况下,存在反常高光泽和铺展性方面的问题。在涂有二氧化钛的云母的情况下,将二氧化钛制成细颗粒并用于涂覆,这样与云母相比,粘附性和铺展性都得到提高,而且在皮肤上的感觉较好。但在涂有二氧化钛的云母的情况下,涂有二氧化钛的层具有高光反射,因此如果增加在该粉底中的配混量,光泽就变高。此外,如果施用到皮肤上,则由于出汗和皮脂分泌导致光泽、遮盖性能下降、化妆变差、等,因此它们会降低对化妆的良好养护。因此,它与化妆品的配混量受局限。
在这种技术背景下,化妆品领域特别需要开发出能够适当控制光泽且铺展性和粘附性良好的增量剂。
为了解决化妆品用增量剂所涉及的上述问题,本发明人深入研究后发现,如果将其片状基材表面上涂有碳酸钙的增量剂与化妆品如粉底进行配混,那么它同时具有合适的粘附性和铺展性,而且对于光泽,它不会出现在使用云母时的高光泽,但作为其中光泽得到抑制的化妆品用增量剂却具有良好的特性。
因此,本发明提供了一种涂有碳酸钙细颗粒的新型薄片颜料、一种生产它以及包含所述薄片颜料的化妆品、塑料组合物、油漆组合物和油墨组合物的方法,这在以下(1)-(9)中提及。

(5)根据任何(1)-(4)的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料,其中所述颜料用有机化合物进行处理;
(6)一种生产涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料的方法,其特征在于,将钙盐水溶液和碳酸盐水溶液在搅拌下加入片状基材的悬浮液中,使得碳酸钙作为细颗粒涂覆在所述片状基材的表面上,然后过滤、洗涤并干燥;
(7)根据(6)的生产涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料的方法,其中在用碳酸钙细颗粒进行涂覆处理时加入一种配合物形成剂;
(8)一种化妆剂,其中包含有根据任何(1)-(5)的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料;和
(9)一种塑料组合物、油漆组合物或油墨组合物,其中包含有根据任何(1)-(5)的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料。
本发明以下进行详细说明。
用于本发明的片状基材的粒径为0.5-50μm,其中特别优选0.5-20μm的粒径。其厚度为0.01-1.0μm,且合适地为0.02-0.05μm。如果粒径大于50μm,光泽变高,因此作为本发明目的之一的光泽控制难以进行,而且使用时的感觉,如在皮肤表面上的合适粘附性、铺展性和光滑性下降,导致该化妆品用增量剂在适应性方面的问题。片状基材的材质并不特别限定,只要它具有所需的形状,因此可以列举天然云母、滑石、绢云母、合成云母、硅石片、矾土片、高岭土、涂有二氧化钛的云母、涂有氧化铁的云母、涂有硫酸钡的云母、涂有二氧化钛和硫酸钡的云母、和氯氧化铋。通常优选云母。
现在提及一种生产涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料的方法。首先,将片状基材的悬浮液加热,然后在搅拌下,将钙盐水溶液和碳酸盐水溶液加入该悬浮液中。考虑到所加钙盐水溶液的浓度和加料速度、或碳酸钙晶体的生长速度、或所得目标碳酸钙的尺寸,这时的反应温度通常在20℃(环境温度)-60℃的范围内适当选择。如果使用具有低水溶性的钙盐,那么所加的钙盐水溶液可通过事先用盐酸或类似物帮助溶解而制成。
在上述涂覆处理时,如果加入钙的配合物形成剂,有时可获得有利的结果,这样可控制碳酸钙颗粒的尺寸和形状。为此所用的配合物形成剂的例子为草酸、柠檬酸、酒石酸、EDTA、柠檬酸钠及其盐。作为该反应操作的结果,碳酸钙通过钙盐与碳酸盐的反应而生成并作为细颗粒涂覆在片状基材的表面上。将涂有碳酸钙细颗粒的片状基材过滤、洗涤并在100-150℃下干燥。如果需要,可在不超过碳酸钙分解点(600℃)的温度下煅烧该干燥成品颜料。用于该涂覆步骤的钙盐的例子为氯化钙和硝酸钙且使用氯化钙是合适的,碳酸盐的例子为碳酸钠和碳酸钾且使用碳酸钠是合适的。
X-射线衍射已证实,如此得到的涂覆在片状基材表面上的碳酸钙颗粒是作为方解石型或霰石型结晶形式涂覆的。至于增量剂,单个结晶形式与这些结晶形式的混合体系之间几乎没有任何性能差异。合适的粒径为0.4μm或更低,特别是200纳米或更低。尽管并不特别限定涂覆量,但合适的量为1-80%重量(相对总量),特别是5-70%重量(相对总量)。如此制成的本发明涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料的特征在于,它在皮肤表面上具有合适的粘附性,而且具有优异的使用感觉,如铺展性和光滑性。
此外,另一特征在于,如果所得碳酸钙在粒径更加均匀之后再涂覆,那么可产生干涉色。
如果将本发明涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料与化妆品进行配混,它可能要进行有机处理,这样可防止聚集并提高分散性。至于用于所述处理的试剂,可以使用金属皂、其胺盐、硅氧烷化合物、氟化合物、脂肪酸、表面活性剂、天然物质或其混合物。金属皂的例子为硬脂酸铝、硬脂酸锌、硬脂酸镁和二乙醇胺硬脂酸,硅氧烷化合物的例子为能够用于化妆品的那些硅氧烷(例如,由Toray-Dow、Shin-Etsu Silicaone等生产和销售的烷基氢聚硅氧烷如甲基氢聚硅氧烷、乙基氢聚硅氧烷、和丙基氢聚硅氧烷,它们特别适用于化妆品)。
氟化合物的例子为各种氟型表面活性剂;脂肪酸的例子为己酸、辛酸、月桂酸、硬脂酸和花生酸;表面活性剂的例子为聚乙二醇、聚丙二醇、HEC、HPC和CMC;且天然物质的例子为明胶、阿胶、胶原、酪蛋白、壳多糖、脱乙酰壳多糖和藻酸。上述处理剂可通过任何以下方法使用:干混法,其中该试剂可利用Henschel混合器等直接加入粉末中;以及这样一种方法,其中事先将该试剂溶解在能够溶解该试剂的溶剂,如水或醇中,然后将该溶液加入所要处理的物质,随后进行蒸发和干燥。
并不特别限定本发明涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料所配混的化妆品,这些化妆品的例子为用于化妆的化妆品、用于头发的化妆品、和洗浴剂。粉底、乳状洗剂、唇膏、染眉毛油和修指甲剂都是特别合适的。并不特别限定配混量,而且根据种类及其使用目的,该配混量的合适范围为1-50%。这时,除了本发明的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料,常用作化妆品添加剂的其它组分可根据需要配混其中。
所述其它组分的例子为无机颜料如天然云母、涂有二氧化钛的云母、涂有氧化铁的云母、氯氧化铋、合成云母、滑石、高岭土、绢云母、碳酸镁、硅石、沸石、羟磷灰石、二氧化钛、氧化铁红、氧化铁黄、氧化铁黑、氧化锌、金属粉末、普鲁士蓝、群青、炭黑、氧化铬、钛酸钴和玻璃珠;有机颜料如尼龙珠和硅氧烷珠;有机颜料如红№201、红№202、红№226、红№205、红№228、红№405、黄№205、黄№401、蓝№404、蓝№1和橙№205;烃如角鲨烷、液体石蜡、棕榈酸、硬脂酸、蜂蜡和肉豆蔻酸肉豆蔻酯;以及有机溶剂如丙酮、甲苯、乙酸丁酯和乙酸酯。其它例子为表面活性剂、紫外线吸收剂、抗氧化剂、抗静电剂、多元醇和香料。
本发明的薄片颜料并不仅限于化妆品,但可在其它场合中用作颜料、填料等。例如,它可用于塑料组合物、油漆组合物、油墨组合物、造纸填料、等。
如果用于塑料组合物,可以例举用于以下树脂。热塑性树脂如聚烯烃(如,聚乙烯、聚苯乙烯和聚丙烯)、聚氯乙烯、聚偏氯乙烯、聚缩醛、丙烯酸系树脂、聚丙烯酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸酯、聚酯和ABS;和热固性树脂如环氧树脂、酚树脂、聚醚树脂、蜜胺树脂、紫外线可固化树脂、不饱和聚酯、氨基树脂、苯胺树脂、呋喃树脂和硅氧烷树脂。其它例子为聚酰胺、聚酰亚胺、氟树脂、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯、和聚碳酸酯。
至于在油漆中的应用,它可用于例如汽车用油漆。其应用形式可以是任何溶剂型、含水型和乳液型。本发明涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料可单独或与其它彩色颜料、有机颜料、无机颜料、鲜艳颜料、和金属颜料如二氧化钛、氧化铁红、氧化铁黄、氧化铁黑、炭黑、铝颜料、涂有二氧化钛的云母、和矾土颜料结合使用。
至于在油墨中的应用,它可用作印刷油墨在例如纸、塑料片材等上进行印刷。它可用于胶版印刷、凹版印刷、橡皮凸版印刷、丝网印刷等。本发明涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料同样可与其它着色材料结合使用。
本发明颜料还可用作造纸中的填料。例如,本发明颜料可以与木浆进行混合,然后将淀粉、施胶剂、纸增强剂等加入其中,将该混合物制成纸,随后进行干燥,这样就制成纸。这时,还可使用其它填料、滑石等。
本发明现通过以下实施例进行详细说明,但这并不意味着本发明仅局限于这些实施例。
实施例1
将粒径1-15μm的白色云母(1128克)悬浮在6.0升水中。在搅拌下加热该悬浮液至55℃。将10%重量的碳酸钠水溶液加入其中,将该悬浮液的pH值调节至10.8。然后,同时向其中滴加通过将528克二水合氯化钙和18毫升氢氯酸溶解在3.0升水中而制成的溶液、以及10%重量的碳酸钠水溶液。滴加结束之后,过滤出产物,水洗并在110℃下干燥。结果得到一种涂有22.6%重量碳酸钙细颗粒的颜料。所得颜料的物理性能在表1中给出。
根据MIU数据,与云母或二氧化钛涂覆云母相比,这种涂有碳酸钙的云母证实具有合适的粘附性和低光泽。
实施例2
将粒径1-15μm的白色云母(1000克)悬浮在5.6升水中。在搅拌下加热该悬浮液至40℃。加入一水合柠檬酸(20克)并溶解在该悬浮液中,然后向其中加入20%重量的碳酸钾水溶液,将该悬浮液的pH值调节至6.5,然后同时向其中滴加通过将980克二水合氯化钙和40毫升氢氯酸溶解在4.0升水中而制成的溶液、以及20%重量的碳酸钾水溶液。滴加结束之后,过滤出产物,水洗并在110℃下干燥。结果得到一种涂有40%重量碳酸钙细颗粒的颜料。所得颜料的物理性能在表1中给出。
根据MIU数据,与云母钛相比,这种涂有碳酸钙的云母证实具有合适的滑动性能和低光泽。

CCST Medium(硝基纤维素型树脂, 10重量份由Toyo Ink生产)
实施例1或实施例2中得到的颜料 8重量份
将NC 102溶剂(由Toyo Ink生产)加入按照以上配方的油墨组合物中,并将该混合物的粘度调节至20秒(使用Zahn №3杯),制备出一种印刷油墨。
Claims (9)
1.一种涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料,其中碳酸钙颗粒被涂覆在所述片状基材的表面上,其中所述碳酸钙颗粒的粒度为0.4μm或更低。
2.根据权利要求1的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料,其中碳酸钙细颗粒的涂覆量为所述颜料总量的5-70%。
3.根据权利要求1或2的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料,其中所述片状基材的粒径为0.5-50μm。
4.根据权利要求1或2的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料,其中碳酸钙的粒度为200纳米或更低。
5.根据权利要求1或2的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料,其中所述颜料用有机化合物进行处理。
6.一种生产权利要求1的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料的方法,其特征在于,将钙盐水溶液和碳酸盐水溶液在搅拌下加入片状基材的悬浮液中,使得碳酸钙以颗粒形式涂覆在所述片状基材的表面上,然后过滤、洗涤并干燥。
7.根据权利要求6的生产涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料的方法,其中在用碳酸钙细颗粒进行涂覆处理时加入一种配合物形成剂。
8.一种化妆剂,其中包含有根据权利要求1-5中任一项的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料。
9.一种塑料组合物、油漆组合物或油墨组合物,其中包含有根据权利要求1-5中任一项的涂有碳酸钙的薄片颜料。
