Abstract
The invention is related to a thread (1) with rings (2) that can be used to obtain large surfaced knitted items without using knitting apparatus such as crochet hooks, knitting needs etc., and a method (100) with which knitted items are obtained using said thread (1) with rings (2).
Description
A THREAD WITH RINGS AND KNITTING METHOD USING THE
THREAD WITH RINGS
Technical Field The invention is related to a thread with rings that can be used to obtain large surfaced knitted items without using knitting apparatus such as crochet hooks, knitting needs etc., and a method with which knitted items are obtained using said thread with rings.
Prior Art Nowadays, knitting apparatus such as crochet hooks or knitting needles are used when knitting is carried out with threads (yarns). As the usage of said knitting apparatus needs to be learned, any person who wants to knit cannot knit by using normal threads. Besides this even if the person knows how to knit, it is not possible for a person to knit large items in a short period of time.
A knitting needle which has multiple corners which makes knitting easier is described in the invention subject to the utility model numbered 2005/02097 of the prior art. The knitting needle that is described herein does not have a rounded surface but it has multiple corners and as it has multiple corners, it overcomes the problem of excessive contact of the yarn with the knitting needle, caused by the rounded surface knitting needles. The invention can be provided to have multiple corners; it can be hexagonal or heptagonal. Developments are carried relating to knitting apparatus in order to make sure that the knitting process is easier.
However when these developments are carried out on threads the dependence on knitting tools will be eliminated and everyone will be able to knit.
Brief Description of the Invention The aim of this invention is to provide threads with rings that can be used to obtain large surfaced knitted items without using knitting apparatus such as crochet hooks, knitting needs etc., and to provide a method with which knitted items are obtained using said thread with rings.
Detailed Description of the Invention The thread having rings and the knitting method where said thread with rings is used in order to reach the aim of the invention has been shown in the attached figures and said figures illustrate the following;
Figure-I. Shows the thread with rings subject to the invention.
Figure-2. Shows the schematic steps of the method with which knitting is carried out by using the thread with rings subject to the invention.
The parts in the figures have each been numbered and the references of said numbers have been given below.

Detailed Description of the Invention The thread having rings and the knitting method where said thread with rings is used in order to reach the aim of the invention has been shown in the attached figures and said figures illustrate the following;
Figure-I. Shows the thread with rings subject to the invention.
Figure-2. Shows the schematic steps of the method with which knitting is carried out by using the thread with rings subject to the invention.
The parts in the figures have each been numbered and the references of said numbers have been given below.
1. Thread
2. Ring 100. Method The thread (1) subject to the invention which is used to obtain a large surfaced knitted item without using knitting apparatus such as crochet hooks, knitting needles etc, comprises a plurality of rings (2) that have a distance and size suitable to the loop size of the knitted item.
The thread (1) subject to the invention enables any person who does not know how to knit to, to be able to knit an item by means of the rings (2) designed on the thread.
Moreover it is easy to obtain large surfaced knitted items by means of the rings (2).
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the thread (1) can be produced by a fancy yarn machine, together with the rings (2) formed thereon. The rings (2) formed on the thread (1) have a certain height (x), a certain distance (y) between them and a bottom width (z). Said height (x), and distances (y, z) and the thickness of the thread (1) are designed to be in compliance with the loop size of the item to be knitted and such that they are fixed all throughout the thread (1) (Figure 2 - A).
The method (100) for knitting where the thread (1) is used in order to obtain the desired surfaces comprises the following steps;
-ensuring that the thread (1) is aligned as two rows (Figure 2 - B), -the rings (2) of the thread (1) that is at the rear is looped through the rings of the thread (1) at the front (Figure 2 - C), -the above mentioned two steps are repeated until the desired sized knitted item is obtained (Figure 2 - D), -after the desired size is reached the sealing off of the threads are performed (Figure 2 - E).
The knitting process is completed by means of the method (100) subject to the invention and the desired size is reached (Figure 2-F).
The method (100) for knitting where the thread (1) is used in order to obtain the desired surfaces comprises the following steps;
