Abstract
PROTEÍNAS PESTICIDAS E MÉTODOS PARA SEU USO. A presente invenção refere-se a composições e métodos para conferir atividade pesticida ás bactérias, plantas, células das plantas, tecidos e sementes. Proporcionam-se composições que compreendem uma sequência de codificação para um polipeptídeo de toxina. As sequências de codificação podem ser usadas em construções de DNA ou cassetes de expressão para a transformação e a expressão em plantas e bactérias. As composições também compreendem bactérias, plantas, células das plantas, tecidos, e sementes transformados. Em particular, proporcionam-se moléculas de ácidos nucleicos de toxinas isoladas. Adicionalmente, estão incluídas as sequências de aminoácidos que correspondem aos polinucleotídeos, e os anticorpos que especificamente se ligam àquelas sequências de aminoácidos. Em particular, a presente invenção proporciona moléculas de ácidos nucleicos isoladas que compreendem as sequências de necleotídeos que codificam a sequência de aminoácidos mostrada nas SEQ ID NO:50-96, ou a sequência de nucleotídeos apresentada nas SEQ ID NO;1-47, bem como as variantes e fragmentos das mesmas.
