Abstract

MÉTODO PARA CONTROLAR MICRO-ORGANISMOS EM UM SISTEMA AQUOSO. São providos métodos para controlar micro-organismos em um sistema aquoso que contém agente(s) redutor(es). O método compreende o tratamento do sistema aquoso com uma quantidade eficaz de um composto da fórmula (I): onde x, R e R1 são como definidos aqui. Um método para controlar micro-organismos em um sistema aquoso, o método compreendendo tratar o sistema aquoso com uma quantidade eficaz de um composto da fórmula (1): (Fórmula I); onde X é halogênio, e R e R1 são, respectivamente, hidroxialquila e um radical ciano (-C-N), ou R e R1 são, respectivamente, hidrogênio e um radical amido da fórmula: (Fórmula II), onde o sistema aquoso contém um agente redutor tal como um sulfito, um bissulfito ou um sulfureto.
