Abstract
USO DE ETILENO GLICOL OU PROPILENO GLICOL OU GLICEROL OU UMA MISTURA DE ETILENO GLICOL OU PROPILENO GLICOL E/OU GLICEROL COMO UM INIBIDOR DA CORROSÃO PARA ÁCIDOS ORGÂNICOS OU INORGÂNICOS. A presente invenção refere-se a descoberta de dióis e trióis simples que funcionam como inibidores da corrosão em ácidos orgânicos e inorgânicos concentrados, por exemplo, utilizados como aditivos em equipamentos metalicos em fabricas e instalações. Estes inibidores da corrosão são baratos e prontamente disponiveis em grandes quantidades. O diol e o triol também reduzem a evaporação do acido e, portanto, melhoram o ambiente de trabalho.
