Abstract
<B>PROCEDIMENTO DE CULTIVO MASSIVO DE CéLULAS DE MAMìFERO PARA A OBTENçãO DE ERITROPOETINA HUMANA RECOMBINANTE E A ERITROPOETINA HUMANA RECOMBINANTE OBTIDA COM TAL PROCEDIMENTO<D>. A presente patente de invenção descreve um processo de cultivo massivo de células de mamífero recombinantes, produtoras de EPO. O processo produtivo segue diferentes etapas de expansão, partindo de células viáveis conservadas congeladas. Posteriormente, passa-se a uma etapa produtiva na qual utiliza-se meios de cultivo especialmente formulados para minimizar o agregado de suplementos protêicos. A suplementação com insulina causa inesperadamente uma elevada produtividade de EPO que com alta pureza no meio de cultivo coletado. Este é um dos aspectos chave do método utilizado. O sobrenadante de cultivo é finalmente concentrado para obter maior concentração de EPO em uma forma apropriada para ser utilizada tal qual é obtida ou purificada posteriormente para os usos que assim o necessitem.
