A invenção refere-se a um processo e a uma instalação para a aplicação, assim como para a complementação, de um eletrólito em uma instalação de tratamento eletroquímico. Ela caracateriza-se principalmente pelo fato de que os necessários sais eletrolíticos e/ou substâncias químicas são fornecidos ao eletrólito através do vácuo gerado em uma máquina de borrifar 12.
