Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA REFORMAR UMA ALIMENTAçãO DE HIDROCARBONETO PARA SE OBTER AROMáTICOS, E, CATALISADOR DE REFORMA CATALìTICO" Descreve-se um processo de reforma catalítica utilizando um catalisador contendo um metal do Grupo VIII, baixas quantidades de bismuto, e um zeólito L. O catalisador é um catalisador monofuncional de reforma não-acídico. De preferência, o catalisador contém um ou mais halogênios. De preferência, a alimentação inclui hidrocarbonetos com C~ 8~. A adição de pequenas quantidades de bismuto aumenta ou conserva substancialmente a estabilidade do catalisador. Obtém-se taxas de desalquilação inesperadamente baixas quando se utiliza o catalisador enquanto se reforma para produzir aromáticos, especialmente para produzir xilenos, como o paraxileno.
