Abstract

"SOLUçãO OFTALMICAMENTE SEGURA PARA DESINFETAR LENTES DE CONTATO E SEU USO". A presente invenção é direcionada a uma solução desinfetante oftalmicamente segura compreendendo um polímero de biguanida em combinação com uma bis (guanida), e a um método para usar uma tal composição, na forma de uma solução aquosa, para desinfetar e/ou preservar lentes de contato, especialmente lentes de contato macias. A invenção pode ser usada para formular produtos tendo maiores conveniências e/ou benefícios comparativamente com produtos desinfetantes tradicionais para lentes de contato e pode prover uma atividade global antimicrobiana mais ampla, mais potente e mais rápida.
