Abstract

"TOLERâNCIA A ESFORçO E ATRASO DE SENESCêNCIA EM PLANTAS". As novas construções e métodos desta invenção melhorar a tolerância vegetal a esforços ambientais e à senescência. Descrevem-se ácidos nucléicos codificando transferase de farnesila, bem como plantas e sementes transgênicas incorporando estes ácidos nucléicos e proteínas. São igualmente providos inibidores de transferase de farnesila de ocorrência natural que, quando expressos, acentuarão a tolerância à seca nas plantas, melhorarão a resistência à senescência e modificarão os hábitos de desenvolvimento.
