"COMPOSTO COMPLEXANTE, USO DO MESMO, COMPOSIçãO FARMACêUTICA, E, PROCESSOS PARA GERAR UMA IMAGEM DE UM INDIVìDUO ANIMAL ANIMADO HUMANO OU NãO HUMANO, PARA TRATAR O MESMO, E PARA PREPARAR UM COMPLEXO DE UM COMPLEXANTE" A invenção provê um composto de fórmula (I) complexante: R^ 3^S (CR^ 1^~ 2~)~ n~ N( R^ 2^)~ i~ (CR^ 1^~ 2~)~ n~ X (CR^ 1^~ 2~)~ n~ N (R^ 2^)~ i~ (CR^ 1^~ 2~)~ n~ SR^ 3^ (I) (em que cada n, que pode ser igual ou diferente, é um inteiro 2, 3 ou 4 (preferivelmente 2), cada i, que pode ser igual ou diferente, representa 0 ou 1; cada R^ 3^, que pode ser igual ou diferente, é H ou um grupo de proteção tio, preferivelmente um grupo de proteção; X é O, S, N, NR^ 4^ ou um fósforo substituído, (por exemplo fósforo substituído por oxo), preferivelmente S ou N; cada R^ 4^, que pode ser igual ou diferente, é hidrogênio ou um grupo orgânico opcionalmente substituído, cada R^ 2^, que pode ser igual ou diferente, é hidrogênio ou um grupo orgânico opcionalmente substituído, cada R^ 1^, que pode ser igual ou diferente, é hidrogênio ou um grupo orgânico opcionalmente substituído, ou uma porção CR^ 1^~ 2~ pode representar um grupo carbonila ou dois, três ou quatro R^ 1^s em dois diferentes carbonos juntos com estes carbonos e quaisquer átomos intervenientes podem representar um anel homocíclico ou heterocíclico saturado ou insaturado, opcionalmente substituído; e preferivelmente, pelo menos uma porção CR^ 1^~ 2~ é diferente de CH~ 2~ ou CH(CH~ 3~)) ou um sal ou complexo do mesmo, em que opcionalmente pelo menos uma dentre as porções R^ 1^, R^ 2^, R^ 3^ e R^ 4^ é copulada diretamente ou indiretamente a uma porção de vetor.
