Abstract
"SISTEMAS DE COMUNICAçõES". Uma corrente de bit de dados de múltiplos níveis escalonada (38) é apresentada sendo capaz de suportar o acesso à rede ATM de largura de banda variável, incluindo múltiplas taxas para canais de suporte múltiplo de comunicações de voz e taxas aumentadas para comunicações de dados (transferência de arquivo) e vídeo. Para suportar a possibilidade de reparos do sistema de comunicações, a corrente de bit (38) inclui um canal de operaçao embutido (42) para a manutenção de conexão, monitoramento de performance, determinação de caminho e teste.
