Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA CONTROLE DE TRANSMISSãO ADAPTáVEL EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DE ALTA TAXA DE DADOS". Em um sistema de comunicação de alta taxa de dados, um método e um equipamento para estabelecer, de forma eficiente, uma conexão entre um terminal de acesso e uma rede de acesso usando um canal de acesso rápido e um indicador de acesso rápido. Ao receber um indicador de acesso rápido (406 ) em resposta a uma sonda de acesso rápido (404) um terminal de acesso inicia a transmissão de um sinal de canal de acesso (408) contendo informações de controle de taxa de dados (DRC) . As informações DRC são usadas pela rede de acesso para a transmissão de mensagens tais como uma mensagem de designação de canal de tráfego (410) na taxa DRC requisitada.
