Abstract

"RETENçãO DA MORFOLOGIA E MATERIAIS APROPRIADOS PARA SEU USO". A presente invenção está direcionada a um método para a rápida cura "in situ" de materiais polimerizáveis para prover redes macro-moleculares e artigos de fabricação que são "morfologia retida"; isto é, eles exibem uma morfologia de fase fixa e/ou orientação molecular que é presa pelo passo de cura. O processo inclui os passos de mixar um polímero inativo ou um prépolímero, um plastificante reativo ou um diluente, e um iniciador para prover uma composição polimerizável; processando a mistura a fim de alcançar uma morfologia de fase desejada e/ou orientação molecular dos constituintes poliméricos; moldando a composição polimerizável numa geometria desejada; e expondo a composição polimerizável a uma fonte de energia polimerizante, sem mixagem, para prover um produto final com a morfologia de fase desejada e/ou orientação molecular presa no local.
