Abstract

Circuit servant à multiplier ou diviser des échantillons PCM codés en D2. Un circuit d'addition ou de soustraction d'exposants fournit la somme ou la différence des exposants des deux nombres. Un circuit de multiplication ou de division de mantisses détermine le produit ou le quotient des deux mantisses et un générateur de signes fournit une valeur de signe pour le produit ou le quotient résultant des deux nombres. Un circuit de normalisation assure que la mantisse du produit ou quotient se trouve dans un domaine de valeurs déterminé.
