Durch die Zusatzpatente Nr. 67833 und Nr. 6783ó sind Verfahren zur Herstellung eines dem Hartgummi ähnlichen Materials geschützt, darin bestehend, dass man das von

Es wurde nun gefunden, dass auch andere aliphatische Amine, sowohl solche mit offener als auch geschlossener Kette und ihre Derivate dieselbe Wirkung auszuüben vermögen.
Nach dem Stammpatente Nr. 62129 ist zwar schon das Kondakow5che Produkt generell bei Gegenwart von alkalischen Mitteln, unter anderem auch von Dimethylamin oder Diäthylamin vulkanisiert worden, doch führte diese Vulkanisation nur zu Weichgummi.
Verwendet man aber, wie jetzt gefunden wurde, statt der dort benutzten leicht flüchtigen Basen der Fettreihe solche Basen, die wie das nach den Verfahren der Zusatzpatente Nr. 67833 und Nr. 67835 benutzte Piperidin schwerer flüchtig sind und infolgedessen bei dem Prozess der Vulkanisation der Masse beigemengt bleiben, so erhält man mit Leichtigkeit vorzüglichen Hartgummi. An Stelle der schwerer flüchtigen Basen lassen sich auch die leicht flüchtigen Basen verwenden, wenn man sie in Form ihrer wenig flüchtigen Derivate benutzt, wie z. B. die Harnstoffderivate oder Additionsprodukte der genannten Basen mit Schwefelkohlenstoff usw.
B e i s p i e l 1.
100 Teile Kondakowsches Produkt werden mit 1 Teil Tetramethylendiamin und 50 Teilen Schwefel auf der Walze gemischt. Die Masse wird darauf drei Stunden auf
1430 erhitzt. Man erhält ein vorzügliches hartgummiähnliches Material.
Beispiel 2.
100 Teile Kondakowsches Produkt werden mit 1-5 Teilen des Additiousprodukts aus Schwefelkohlenstoff und Pyrrolidin und 40 leilen Schwefel auf der Walze gemischt. Nachdem man die Masse zwei Stunden auf etwa 155 erhitzt hat, erhält man ein gutes Hartgummiersatzmittel.
Beispiel 3.
Ersetzt man das Pyrrolidinderivat durch ss-ss-Dimethylmethyltrimethylenimin, so erhält man ebenfalls einen guten Hartgummi.
Beispiel 4.
100 Teile Kondakowsehes Produkt werden mit 0'8 Teilen des Additionsproduktes aus Schwefelkohlenstoff und Dimethylamin und 45 Teilen Schwefel auf der Walze gemischt. Die Masse wird drei Stunden auf 1450 erhitzt, wodurch auch hier ein gutes Hartgummi- ersatzmittel entsteht.

It has now been found that other aliphatic amines, both those with open and closed chains, and their derivatives are able to exert the same effect.
According to the parent patent No. 62129, the Kondakovian product has already been vulcanized in the presence of alkaline agents, including dimethylamine or diethylamine, but this vulcanization only led to soft rubber.
If, however, as has now been found, instead of the readily volatile bases of the fatty series used there, bases that are less volatile, like the piperidine used according to the processes of additional patents No. 67833 and No. 67835, and consequently in the process of vulcanization of the mass remain admixed, excellent hard rubber is easily obtained. In place of the less volatile bases, the more volatile bases can also be used if they are used in the form of their less volatile derivatives, such as.
