Abstract

Preheating furnace for barbecue (grill) coals, in which two wire mesh baskets 2, 3 for holding the barbecue coals are provided and arranged centrally within a jacket 1. After the coals have been lit, these are brought quickly and uniformly to the incandescent state, following which the bottom grill 4 is opened as a result of lifting the jacket 1 by the handles 7, and the incandescent barbecue coals fall into the barbecue tray. <IMAGE>

   Die gegenständliche Erfindung betrifft einen Vorheizofen für einen Gartengriller. Durch diesen Vorschlag wird ein gleichmässiges, schnelles und sicheres Anbrennen der Grillkohle in der Grillwanne ermöglicht. Der Vorheizofen besteht aus einem äusseren Blechmantel und zwei innenliegenden, zentrisch fixiert angeordneten Drahtgitterkörben. Der Querschnitt ist rund, oval oder rechteckig. Unten befindet sich ein nach unten aufklappbarer zweiteiliger Drahtgitterrost, der am aussenliegenden Blechmantel mit einem Scharnier befestigt ist. Durch Anheben des mit zwei Griffen ausgestatteten Blechmantel erfolgt das Durchfallen der glosenden Holzkohle in die Grillwanne. Durch die Anbringung der beiden Haltegriffe ist ein sicheres Entleeren möglich. 



  Die beiden Drahtgitterkörbe gewährleisten das rasche und gleichmässige Anglühen der Kohle. 



   Weiters sind am Rost noch vier Füsse befestigt, welche der Zentrierung des Blechmantels dienen. Die Höhe der Füsse ist so bemessen, dass sie ein problemloses Anzünden mit einem Kohleanzünder erlaubt. Die Dimension des Vorheizofens ist an das Kohlefassungsvermögen der Grillwanne angepasst. Gefertigt wird er aus Stahlblech. 



  Der erfindungsgemässe Vorheizofen erlaubt ein schnelles und gleichmässiges Anbrennen der Holzkohle und beruht auf der besseren Sauerstoffzufuhr. Gegenüber der Einrichtung nach der DE-OS 3 519 760 hat er noch den Vorteil des sicheren Gebrauches durch die zwei Haltegriffe, der rascheren Anbrennung der Holzkohle durch die beiden Drahtgitterkörbe und des selbstaufklappenden Bodenrostes. 



  Die Fig. zeigt eine Seitenansicht eines erfindungsgemässen Vorheizofens. Die Hinweise haben folgende Bedeutung :

7 Handgriffe Der Vorheizofen wird in die Grillwanne gestellt. Die Kohle befindet sich zwischen innerem (3) und äusserem (2) Drahtgitterkorb. Die Kohle wird nun durch einen herkömmlichen Anzünder unter dem Bodenrost (4) gezündet. 



   Die entstehende Wärme führt zu einer Kaminwirkung, welche ein schnelles und gleichmässiges Anbrennen der Kohle bewirkt. 



   Ausserdem ist die Befüllung ausserhalb des Standortes möglich. Somit ist eine sichere, einfache und saubere Anwendung möglich.

   The present invention relates to a preheating oven for a garden grill. This proposal enables the charcoal to be burned evenly, quickly and safely in the grill pan. The preheating oven consists of an outer sheet metal jacket and two inner, centrally fixed wire mesh baskets. The cross section is round, oval or rectangular. At the bottom there is a two-part wire grid that can be folded down and is attached to the outside sheet metal jacket with a hinge. By lifting the sheet metal jacket equipped with two handles, the glowing charcoal falls through into the grill pan. Safe emptying is possible by attaching the two handles.



  The two wire mesh baskets ensure that the coal glows quickly and evenly.



   Furthermore, four feet are attached to the grate, which serve to center the sheet metal jacket. The height of the feet is such that they can be easily lit with a coal lighter. The size of the preheating oven is adapted to the charcoal capacity of the grill pan. It is made from sheet steel.



  The preheating furnace according to the invention allows the charcoal to be burned quickly and evenly and is based on the better supply of oxygen. Compared to the device according to DE-OS 3 519 760, it still has the advantage of safe use due to the two handles, the quicker burning of the charcoal through the two wire mesh baskets and the self-opening floor grate.
