Dauerbrandkasten.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beschickungsvorrichtung für Dauerbrandöfen, bei der im oberen Teil des Kastens eine mit einem nach aussen ragenden und mit Griff versehene Anstossplatte verschiebbar angeordnet ist.
Fig. l zeigt die Vorderansicht und Fig. 2 die Seitenansicht eines geschlossenen, Fig. 3 den Längsschnitt einea geöffneten Kastens. Die Vorrichtung ist mit einem Kasten k ver. sehen, der zur Aufnahme von Briketts oder anderen Brennstoffen dient. Der Kasten k ist oben geschlossen, während er unten einen aufklappbaren, durchlochten Boden b besitzt.
Dieser ist um Zapfen z drehbar, die sich an verschiebbar geführten Stangen s eines mit Griff versehenen Tragbügels t befinden. Unter diesem befindet sich ein mit dem Behälter fest verbundener Griff 9 und an oder unter dem Griff des Tragbügels t ist eine Stange o angeordnet, die durch die Decke des Behälters hindurchragt und hier mit einer Platte p versehen ist. Auf dem Behälter k ist eine entsprechend ausgeschnittene Scheibe c verschiebbar geführt. Soll die Vorrichtung abends gebraucht werden, so wird der Kasten, nachdem der Boden aufgeklappt ist, mit passenden Briketts gefüllt. Hierauf wird durch Erfassen des Griffbügels t der Boden geschlossen.
Es wird dann, nachdem das noch auf dem Rost befindliche Feuer geschürt ist, der Deckel oder die Ringe von der Öffnung in der Herdplatte über dem Roste entfernt und der Behälter von oben eingesetzt, so dass die Scheibe die Öffnung der Herdplatte verschliesst und der Boden des Behälters auf dem Feuer Platz findet. Letzteres dringt durch die Öffnung im boden hindurch auf die Briketts und entzündet diese. Diese glimmen dann die Nacht durch weiter, ohne dass sie. da sie in dem Kasten eingeschlossen sind, stark in Brand geraten. Soll nun früh leblîafteres Feuer im Herd hervorgerufen werden, so wird der Kasten vermittels des Tragbügels herausgehoben und auf die Herdplatte oder dgl. gesetzt.
Hierauf wird der Host gereinigt und der Behälter am Tragbügel von neuem in die Öffnung der Herdplatte eingesetzt und dann wird der Hehäiter k am Griff gegen den Griff des Tragbügels gezogen. Dadurch wird der Boden geöffnet und gleichzeitig auch die Platte p relativ in dem Behälter nach unten bewegt und die Briketts herausgeschoben. Sie brennen nun ohneweiters fort und geraten, da sie nun frei auf dem Roste ruhen, in lebhaftes Brennen.
