Abstract
La invención proporciona ADN recombinante novedoso, composiciones y métodos para regular selectivamente la expresión de un polinucleótido transcribible o proteína recombinante en polen de una planta transgénica. La invención también proporciona plantas transgénicas, células vegetales, partes de plantas, semillas y productos básicos que comprenden dichas composiciones y polinucleótidos de ADN recombinante. Reivindicación 1: Un polinucleótido de ADN recombinante que comprende un elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi que comprende una secuencia de ADN seleccionada del grupo que consiste en: i. una secuencia con al menos un 90 por ciento de identidad de secuencia con la SEQ ID Nº 1; y ii. una secuencia que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 1; en donde el elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi está operativamente unido a un polinucleótido de ADN transcribible heterólogo. Reivindicación 3: El polinucleótido de ADN recombinante de la reivindicación 1, en donde el polinucleótido de ADN transcribible heterólogo comprende un gen de interés agronómico. Reivindicación 8: Una célula vegetal transgénica que comprende un polinucleótido de ADN recombinante que comprende un elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi que comprende una secuencia de ADN seleccionada del grupo que consiste en: i. una secuencia con al menos un 90 por ciento de identidad de secuencia con la SEQ ID Nº 1; y ii. una secuencia que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 1; en donde el elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi está operativamente unido a un polinucleótido de ADN transcribible heterólogo. Reivindicación 16: Un método para reducir la expresión de un polinucleótido de ADN transcribible en tejidos reproductivos masculinos de una planta que comprende las etapas: i. unir operativamente un elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi a dicho polinucleótido de ADN transcribible; en donde dicho elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi es heterólogo con respecto al polinucleótido de ADN transcribible; y en donde el elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi tiene al menos un 90 por ciento de identidad de secuencia con respecto a la SEQ ID Nº 1; ii. transformar una planta con un casete de expresión que comprende el polinucleótido de ADN transcribible unido operativamente al elemento objetivo de mts-ARNsi.
