Abstract
Un proceso y una planta para producir metanol, el proceso comprende los pasos de: a) proporcionar una corriente de gas de síntesis bruto; b) desplazar el gas de agua de por lo menos una porción de la corriente de gas de síntesis bruto, para producir por consiguiente un gas de síntesis desplazado; c) preparar una corriente que contiene hidrógeno separada y una corriente que contiene oxígeno separada por medio de la electrólisis de una materia prima acuosa; d) introducir por lo menos una porción de la corriente que contiene hidrógeno separada en el gas de síntesis desplazado, para producir por consiguiente un gas de síntesis de metanol; y e) convertir el gas de síntesis de metanol en el metanol.
