Abstract
El proceso para la remoción de un aerosol, que comprende los pasos de dirigir un gas de proceso que comprende un aerosol para que haga contacto con un desnebulizador inercial que proporciona un primer gas de proceso desnebulizado, y dirigir el primer gas de proceso desnebulizado para que haga contacto con un desnebulizador coalescente que proporciona un segundo gas de proceso desnebulizado, caracterizado porque el primer desnebulizador inercial está más abierto que el desnebulizador coalescente, donde más abierto se define como que tiene una fracción hueca más alta o una densidad más baja con el beneficio asociado de que este proceso proporciona una remoción eficiente de un gran volumen de líquido del desnebulizador inercial, mientras que se evita la inundación del sistema desnebulizador.
