Abstract

Esta divulgación se refiere a moléculas de ácido nucleico y métodos para usarlas para el control de plagas de insectos mediante la inhibición mediada por la interferencia de ARN de secuencias codificantes diana y no codificantes transcritas en plagas de insectos, incluyendo plagas de coleópteros y/o hemípteros. Reivindicación 1: Una molécula de ácido nucleico aislada que comprende al menos un polinucleótido enlazado operativamente a un promotor heterólogo, donde el polinucleótido comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que se selecciona del grupo que consiste en: SEQ ID Nº 2; el complemento o complemento inverso de la SEQ ID Nº 2; un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de la SEQ ID Nº 2; el complemento o complemento inverso de un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de la SEQ ID Nº 2; una secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Meligethes que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 7; el complemento o complemento inverso de una secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Meligethes que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 7; un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de una secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Meligethes que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 7; el complemento o complemento inverso de un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de una secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Meligethes que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 7; SEQ ID Nº 3; el complemento o complemento inverso de la SEQ ID Nº 3; un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de la SEQ ID Nº 3; el complemento o complemento inverso de un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de la SEQ ID Nº 3; una secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Euschistus que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 8 y SEQ ID Nº 9; el complemento o complemento inverso de una secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Euschistus que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 8 SEQ ID Nº 9; un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Euschistus que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 8 y SEQ ID Nº 9; y el complemento o complemento inverso de un fragmento de al menos 15 nucleótidos contiguos de una secuencia codificante natural de un organismo de Euschistus que comprende la SEQ ID Nº 8 y SEQ ID Nº 9. Reivindicación 7: La molécula de ARNdc de la reivindicación 6, donde poner en contacto el polirribonucleótido con una plaga de insectos inhibe la expresión de una molécula de ácido nucleico endógeno que es específicamente complementaria al polirribonucleótido.
