Abstract

Se propone un método para determinar una concentración de un analito en un fluido corporal mediante el uso de un dispositivo móvil (110) que tiene una cámara (112). El método comprende los siguientes pasos: a) tomar una serie de imágenes de calibración (114) de al menos una región de interés (116) de un objeto (118) usando la cámara (112), en donde las imágenes de calibración (114) difieren en su brillo; b) derivar de cada imagen de calibración (114) de la serie tomada en el paso a), al menos una cifra de calibración clave (137) característica para una función de mapeo de tonos del dispositivo móvil (110); c) determinar al menos una función de mapeo de tonos probable (120) del dispositivo móvil (110) teniendo en cuenta las cifras de calibración clave (137) de las imágenes de calibración (114) de la serie tomada en el paso a); d) tomar al menos una imagen de análisis de al menos parte de un campo de prueba (122) de una tira reactiva óptica (124), campo de prueba (122) que tiene el fluido corporal aplicado al mismo; ye) determinar la concentración del analito en el fluido corporal a partir de la imagen de análisis del campo de prueba (122) teniendo en cuenta la función de mapeo de tonos probable (120) del dispositivo móvil (110).
