Abstract

Una composición de deshidratación y su método de uso para secar corrientes de gas, en particular corrientes de gas natural, en donde la composición de deshidratación comprende (i) un glicol, (ii) un compuesto imidazol, y opcionalmente (iii) uno o más carboxilatos de metal alcalino, un glicol adicional diferente de (i), una alcanolamina, un ácido fosfato, una sal de un ácido fosfato, un ácido borato, una sal de un ácido borato, un agente endulzante, un mejorador de la viscosidad a baja temperatura, un inhibidor de la corrosión, un agente antiespuma, o mezclas de estos.
