Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición de deshidratación y su método de uso para secar corrientes de gas, en particular corrientes de gas natural, en donde la composición de deshidratación comprende (i) un glicol,(ii) un compuesto imidazol, y opcionalmente (iii) uno o más de un carboxilato de metal alcalino, un glicol adicional diferente de (i), una alcanolamina, un fosfato ácido, una sal de un fosfato ácido, un borato ácido, una sal de un borato ácido, un agente endulzante, un mejorador de la viscosidad a baja temperatura, un inhibidor de la corrosión, un agente antiespuma, o mezclas de estos.
