Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un método para el tratamiento in situ de una semilla que se está sembrando en un surco, que comprende aplicar directamente una formulación líquida a un surco inmediatamente antes, durante o inmediatamente después de sembrar una semilla en el surco, en una cantidad suficiente para proveer por lo menos un efecto beneficioso para el cultivo, en donde la formulación líquida comprende por lo menos un ingrediente activo agrícola. Reivindicación 2: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde la formulación se suministra en el surco en una forma continua. Reivindicación 5: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde el ingrediente activo agrícola se selecciona del grupo que consiste en plaguicidas, insecticidas, fungicidas, herbicidas, nematicidas, fertilizantes, reguladores del crecimiento de las plantas, agentes biológicos y combinaciones de dos o más de los mismos. Reivindicación 15: Un sistema para el tratamiento in situ de una semilla con una formulación líquida que comprende por lo menos un ingrediente activo agrícola durante la liberación de una semilla desde una sembradora mecánica en un surco, que comprende: un deposito que contiene dicha formulación, acoplado a un aplicador; una cámara de semillas; por lo menos un conducto que acopla el aplicador asociado con el depósito a la cámara de semillas; en donde la semilla se libera desde la cámara de semillas en el conducto y luego se trata con la formulación mediante el aplicador a medida que la semilla pasa al surco. Reivindicación 55: Una formulación agrícola líquida de bajo volumen, que comprende: por lo menos un ingrediente activo agrícola seleccionado del grupo que consiste en insecticidas, plaguicidas, fungicidas, herbicidas, fertilizantes, reguladores del crecimiento de las plantas, promotores del crecimiento de las plantas, agentes biológicos y combinaciones de dos o más de los mismos; en donde la formulación agrícola líquida de bajo volumen contiene desde el 0% hasta el 45% en peso de agua, basado en el peso total de la formulación agrícola líquida y en donde dicha formulación agrícola líquida de bajo volumen no es una formulación que se puede convertir en espuma.
