Abstract

Un proceso para la alquilación de picolinamidas con cloroacilales sustituidos, en donde la reacción se realiza en la presencia de un catalizador de fase de transferencia y de un co-catalizador inorgánico de haluro. Reivindicación 1: Un método que incluye los pasos para: reaccionar un picolinamida de la fórmula (1) con un cloroacilal sustituido de la fórmula (2) para producir un compuesto de la fórmula (3), en donde: R¹ es un grupo de alquilo primario o secundario; R² es un heterociclo de 5 - 12 átomos incluyendo 1 - 3 heteroátomos seleccionados de un grupo compuesto por N, O, P, y S con uno o más sustitutos seleccionados de un grupo compuesto por C₁₋₆ alquilo, C₁₋₆ acilo, =O, bencilo, C₁₋₆ alquilo éter, o arilo éter; R³ es un grupo de alquilo primario, secundario, o terciario; y en donde el paso de reacción se realiza en la presencia de un catalizador de transferencia de fase y un co-catalizador de haluro inorgánico.
